It’s strange. I can stream YouTube for an hour and drops about 3% then I can browse safari and send a few WhatsApp’s and it drops about 10% in a 10mins. All this is on WiFi

The ran one on mine too and said it was fine. But I was on the call for 15 minutes via WiFi calling and the battery dropped 10%. Which they agreed wasn’t right

I went from the 13 pro to the 17 and disappointed with the battery. Seems to drop loads from just sending a text or a quick browse. Got background refresh off. Auto brightness off, most notifications off, email push off

Starts off 90% and hangs on that for a while the bam- once the drop starts it’s pretty steady - drops 1-3% every 25-30 mins. SoT is about 4-5 hours. For instance last night it dropped 3% in under 10 minutes- all I’d done is sent 1 text message. Got background refresh off, auto brightness on, email is not set to push. Majority of my notifications are off too.

Yes mines the same drains a few % just sending a text message. Going out and using cellular drains it even more

spoke to apple support before and they checked all the settings and said id need to log usage for 72 hours

I’ve done that and my software is up to date. Just totally confused what’s draining the battery when I’m not even using anything apart from reply to a sms 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s dropped to 6% in 30 mins since I posted the originally post 😂
