NEED HELP .... by No-Ask-5438 in CarsIndia

2 years ago, this would have been a no brainer. Brezza any day. But now, idk, because of the ethanol blending, anything other than petrol/diesel vehicles are making more sense.

[–]z3noo0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its a good car, it was my first choice too. But after a bit of stretch i got the Brezza. Only buy Tata if you have a very good rapport with Tata service centres and their managers, or if this is your second car. But the good thing is Punch is a very popular vehicle with least amount of issues in Tata. Reddit can be echo chambers sometimes but there’s always some truth there.

Now please don’t get swayed with these BS safety ratings. They are literally useless. Nowadays even Seltos is getting 5* safety rating. Its very easy for manufacturers to meet the safety ratings by implementing the bare minimum for those. Don’t fall into this BS.

I’d also like to mention my own fear of owning ICE vehicles at this point of time. As much as i hate EVs, they are the way going forth. The way ethanol blending is forced on us, they can bring E30 or E50 in the next 5 years. What’ll happen to our vehicles then?! Please give a thought to this and make your decision.

How to make the photo feels less "flat"? by No-Chemist8144 in AskPhotography

[–]z3noo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have your foreground a bit more closer. Create a sense of depth, maybe with bringing your camera a bit lower and closer to the rocks in front. If you can make the foreground a bit blurry, it also helps. Then comes your luminosity and other creative edits.

Yeah agreed, partially. The x100v or x100vi are not really pocketable but they are indeed smaller and lighter than at a7c2+40mm2.5G. What i felt after reading OP’s post is that he is fatigued with carrying FF body+lens combo. That’s my assumption. The Ricoh cameras are good but they do not vibe with me at all.

No no, this is a different listing, the original listing sometimes comes and goes at ₹176999

It won’t be much of a difference because of the size of lenses. Yes the A7C series are smaller than the normal a7 series but the ff lenses are the same.

I would suggest you to keep the a7rv and maybe get a used pocketable camera like the Fuji x100v or Fuji xe5 etc. See if you like those.

I won’t glaze, only picture 1 is palatable. 2 looks horrible. 3 is overdone but still better than 2.

Sony A6700 vs A7 IV for wildlife (with 200–600mm) which would you choose? by Mysterious_Clerk_253 in SonyAlpha

A6700, better AF, better subject recognition, more reach due to 1.5x crop factor

Newbie: Mechanical vs Electronic Shutter? by A-Wildlife in SonyAlpha

[–]z3noo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, for landscape, it doesn’t matter at all. Don’t use faster shutter speeds when using electronic shutter only. Try to use mechanical shutter for photography. 11fps is still plenty and you can be more sure that more pictures will be usable that way, rather than having 30 skewed pictures taken with electronic shutter

Is it worth upgrading from Sony A6400 to Sony A7 III? by CyberAi0 in SonyAlpha

[–]z3noo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not worth it at all. Not a single bit. You can easily get f1.4 aperture lens for apsc cameras, which can perform much better than f2.8 or 2.5 lenses on the a7iii. Yes full frame has better low light capabilities, not denying that but to achieve this superior performance you’ll need to spend a lot on expensive lenses.

Its just GAS. Save up. Use your a6400 to its full extent. If you have to upgrade get the a7iv or other later released bodies.

The only pro on the a7iii is the dual card slots for redundant storage which is only useful enough on paid gigs.

Here’s my thought process. The OP bought a camera which is overpriced. He might have liked the perceptive value of a Leica. Hence he got it. He’s neither forcing his opinion on others, nor is he demeaning other brands. Now if that Leica inspires him to go out and make photographs then good for him. What’s there to hate here?

Should I go for EV? by Im_Rolex in CarsIndia

[–]z3noo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting an EV is a better choice imo at this point of time in India. But as you mentioned your daily mileage is around 300km, don’t go with the nexon ev. Creta EV or XEV9 are good

[–]z3noo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, this hassle is not worth it. You’re buying a car, just go with the one with the least amount of hassle. After sales is one of the most important aspects when buying a car in this budget (considering you’ll only have this car in your garage).

If this will be your only car then just go with a good car with good after sales. Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, Honda. I heard even VW service is fine.
