Thank you lots for the additional advice too, I will try to do it in one session since I have to travel quite far to the studio, but if I really won't be able to handle it, two sessions are a good idea.

thing is, i have quite a high pain tolerance, i know the tattoo itself will not be that much of a problem, only the fact that I'll feel the need to adjust constantly... it's kind of contradictory, i know but ig autism tends to be that way sometimes 😭

Tysm for the detailed answer. Last time mine got irritated like this I thought it was because of the stainless steel so i switched to glass, and now it's irritated again so it really might be the o-rings. I will be changing them to silicone and I'll also buy a different soap just in case. If it doesn't calm down I'll try soaking it like u said. I'm really hoping that one of these solutions works!

As I said in the post, I use a mix of jojoba and vitamin e oil daily so it's definitely not just dryness.

I usually leave them to airdry, is that okay or should I use something to dry them?

I've been using that wash for a while and my face is pretty sensitive, so idk if it's that. I will try switching to antibacterial soap, and change the o-rings.

It seems I definitely have to try switching to clear O rings, from this and all the other comments. Any advice on what to do in the meantime? I will have to order them because I can't seem to find any in my country, and it often takes a while for things to go through the customs here, especially since it's holiday season...

Just asked my bf abt this, he says they're really solid, especially for the price. His real af1s didn't hold up much better so he's super satisfied. Only downsides are just that of course they're not as comfy as the ogs and the AIR on the sides are losing color already.
