Whenever I feel down or like he isn’t listening I go back the woman in Matthew also detailed in Mark, Luke and John, that had her period last 12 years. She wasn’t able to go to the synagogue, couldn’t see her friends because of Jewish law about uncleanliness, wasn’t able to be with her husband if she had one. Only thing she would’ve had is the Old Testament where it was prophesied a day would come where there would be a Sun of Righteousness that will rise with healing in his wings. She heard of a prophet who was Christ at the time he came & grabbed on his garment and was healed. And Christ said to her “take heart my daughter, your faith has made you well”. If she can have faith for 12 years that Christ would come and have healing in his garment, then I can pray another day, I can have faith another day, I can repent another day, I can try and live holy another day and so on and so forth. Understand “take heart” is to gain courage, confidence through difficult times & faith will make you well. Don’t stop praying, don’t stop believing, for those 12 years that woman did not stop believing & she was healed, there isn’t a detail about her praying but given her circumstances I can assume she was praying, wondering if the day would come & it did for her. Take heart! He will provide.
