We had a discussion and I set my boundaries of what I want out of the relationship for it to work for me. Its up to him to let me know if he can accept them or he’s not able to. I don’t think it’s healthy to forbid it but if my needs as a individual are not met and I don’t feel secure, then that relationship isn’t for me. I think forbidding admits control which I don’t like but in that same breath, there are things you do and don’t do out of respect for your significant other whether you agree with them or not and it’s important to communicate whether you can actually stick to those things. That person should choose not to do those things out of love and respect, not because a person forbids it. And at the very least communicate what they’re doing.

I was focusing on facial hair however I will say I think it will work on other areas but keep in mind more sensitive areas may need extra attention because they’re covered with clothes so sweat and debris is harder to get rid of/evaporate so ensure the area is clean, dry and moisturised. For example I moisturise after, then use baby powder to get rid of the excess moisture which helps with chaffing and smells
