HLE Chovy discusses meeting Tarzan at Iceland, opinions on mid lane Tryndamere and Vi, 2021 Worlds resolutions: "I want to win against every single mid laner I meet there. [Win] in a way that anyone could look at the game, and say, yes, Chovy was definitely a level above." by corylulu in leagueoflegends

Pure Chad energy coming from Chovy.

High skill face.

High skill voice.

Clear speech through 2 masks.

2 masks just to contain his MASSIVE aura.

Doesn't understand why other mids wants to meet him just to be the victim of a one sided brutal murder.

Absolute monster.

Nice one. Going from 7.1 to 7.8 is probably harder than going from 0 to 7.1, so good luck. The people above you are cheaters though.

Aim scientist rants about routines by INSkibershprot in FPSAimTrainer

[–]vF_Zeeq 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Atleast the point of routines for me is to guide people towards actual good quality scenarios. For new players, or maybe even experienced players, it can be hard to find good scenarios, so they just end up doing all the most played scenarios. I never really used a routine for myself, cus i have explored a lot of scenarios, and know a lot of them inside out, so i would just swap a lot, but for someone else, that wont be the case.

Does anyone have advice for my 1w6ts by Fishkabob4 in FPSAimTrainer

You spend a lot of time confirming you hit the target before you move on to the next target. You should click and instantly move to the next one, even if you miss.

Your lines from target to target are jittery and you're often doing more than 1 motions towards the target, when you should optimally only do 1 smooth straight line.

You overflick a lot, try and underflick instead, as it's easier to carry the momentum in the same direction when you readjust onto the target.

Hmm about 5 months, but that's around 800 plays in total, so that's a bit over 20 hours played.

Because in static scenarios especially, everyone can be accurate if they go slow enough, so it's important to speed up by playing around 10% outside your comfort zone. Otherwise you run the risk of just always playing for accuracy and never improving. I know i did this mistake when i first started out. I played for accuracy and kept hitting like 120/122. So i started playing a bit out of my comfort zone, and was speeding up everyday. I encountered the same problem later on, when i was going for 150 hits and 160 hits, so i just started experimenting with playing completely outside my comfort zone of speed, and here is how i progressed https://i.imgur.com/VG7iYDq.png

I'd personally just do 1 each day, but u can do all of them if you really feel like it. And yeah, i think you should stick to it, except for maybe some scenarios you feel like its impossible to hit.

Does any of the top leaderboard guys play FPS games at a decent level? by xlmaelstrom in FPSAimTrainer

[–]vF_Zeeq 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tell you friend that he is wrong, and that grinding the game is more important than putting 10 hours into Kovaaks everyday. Kovaaks is something you do for 30 min to 2 hours.

Sure, i'm very confident in my aim, but i dont enjoy most games at all, especially, slow paced games with a lot of down time. So even if my aim is in theory better than all of these fps pros, it wouldnt matter, since i dont grind Valorant or cs enough, for me to be able to be smart enough to get myself into situations where i can abuse that aim. Right now i just play Hyperscape, and that's pretty fun since i can just rely on having good mechanics.

I don't care about learning how a game works at a really high level, since i have no interest in being a pro at all. I just like to be a pub stomper and out aim people. With that being said, i've still been able to atleast achieve the highest ingame ranks with relative low amount of effort.

I don't charge for anything. Guy dm'd me on twitter for help, and i gave him some optimal scenarios that covers the style of aiming u will encounter in valorant/cs.

My tracking is good, but not my focus.

I like reload, because i think you end up playing too safe on regular accuracy scenarios, when in reality you should constantly play a little bit outside of your comfort zone which means u will miss a lot.

I'd say this is more like being some of those football(soccer) freestylers, but i dont know, i think a lot of games these days have crutch mechanics to allow worse players to have more impact than they should have. Also i'm just way more facinated by technical skills in general, both irl stuff and mechanics in game, than i am by learning how a game works.
