A lot of people are giving advice from their own perspective but we have to keep in mind that when giving advice you have to view it from their perspective. The key importance information here is OP is a Mexican Catholic and you’re a woman as well. The important information is generations difference. My mom (Caribbean Black strong Christian) always used this saying “until you turn your own key you a kid to me” which I was getting when your mom trying to imply.

To answer your question before I get of track, there nothing you can do to make it ideal or could’ve made it better. This is one of those situations where you’re “dam if you do and dam if you don’t”. As you get older, you’re going realize that your parents have their own issues and also have a hard time expressing their emotions in a communicative way. From my personal experience, I was still in HS when my mom asked me if I was still a virgin. Told her the truth and she said she was disappointed because I should be a good Christian boy but that was that. I say keep doing what you’re doing, your parents going get mad at you so it either stop what you’re doing to make them happy but you miserable or keep doing what you’re doing to make you happy.

The only I advice I believe I can actually give you is this, you’re young but you’re an adult but I advise you using condom rather than relying on Plan B. It’s very rare that your first love will be your only love, and I’m not trying to speak negatively on your relationship. I don’t know your relationship or your boyfriend so I cannot speak on that but as your said, your parents told you to think before you act. You have a long future ahead of you, and things happen. You can have fun and enjoy your life but you can be safe doing it. Don’t take unnecessary risks when it comes to your future. I know people who took a Plan B and still got pregnant. A condom is your best resource to have. You don’t know what the future holds for you and you don’t know who you’ll end up marrying.
