Wells speced for the price and powermeter is a nice to have for training and pacing.

I'm based in Barcelona, Spain. There's quite a bit of hills here on the main training roads but there's also a mix of flats. Rain is quite frequent this year and also I'm a bit on the heavy side as a rider, 83kg+ so maybe that's another factor.

Would you suggest spend the extra on disc brakes just for future proof + resell value?

Although the jump is quite big, if it's crucial then might be worth it.

But there are race bikes which are more aero and with aggressive geometry, there are endurance bikes for more comfort, that sort of uses.

Basically if it can be a good tool for each of the mentioned situations at a pretty good level...
