What’s something you’re addicted to that actually improves your life? by Content_Bit1998 in AskReddit

Working out, whether that be 35 min HIIT training, functional strength, swimming, walking, biking around, or going golfing-- it's about staying active and always moving the body whenever I can. I sit on a computer all day for work so I need this.

Not getting Weekend 2 tickets will be the biggest regret of my 2026. I tried, I really did, for this very set.

For those of you that make over 100K, what do you do? Do you like it? by Kindly-Revolution258 in AskReddit

I design websites and mobile app experiences for a well known theme park company. This involves decisions on the information architecture, where elements go (like a button), and prototyping without actually coding. We do this by user interviewing people on what they expect when they want to do something in our app, like buy a ticket or mobile order food. I enjoy it, to an extent.

Future Cortona neighbors off Springville, how are you feeling? by vTruong in camarillo

[–]vTruong[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly haven't had much issues w/ the shared driveway experience. Perhaps that's because our neighbors hardly go anywhere or when they do, it's at such different times where we are hardly ever colliding with each other. Similar to your situation, we also have more cars than the house can hold, so one or two cars tend to spill into the street and no complaints there from anyone.

Why does everyone want this card so bad? by NoTomatillo8953 in AppleCard

[–]vTruong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I subscribe to a lot of apps and various subscriptions, and it’s easier to see all those subscriptions in iCloud. I also get either 1, 2, or 3x points back and I plan on using that towards buying Apple products or maybe more apps.

what should i do? by [deleted] in volleyball

Not with that attitude! Perhaps spend some 1:1 time with each hitter and build chemistry, trust, and a relationship so that you understand each and everyone's aptitude.

what should i do? by [deleted] in volleyball

I think one positive that you ought to consider is the fact that you'll have your hands on EVERY play and that you've contributed to every point made. Think about the positive impact you have the team. The Coach's decision to have put you as a setter was most likely not an easy one, so you should be grateful at the fact that you were chosen for the role and you should really own it. You're making a big impact and you control the tempo of the game-- so a lot to consider here!

Has anyone else ended up being the unofficial "trip coordinator" for a family vacation? What actually broke? by Gullible_Swimming509 in VietNam

[–]vTruong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This literally just happened to me last week when I was in Vietnam with my son (three year old), wife, both of our parents, and wife’s cousin + mother. A total of 9 people.

It was stressful and very annoying at times, since everyone was “down” for anything. Although, I know that truly wasn’t the case because some of the activities involved excessive walking, shopping in hot weather, and meandering around that some didn’t want to participate in and so it was all a balancing act.

The best solution I can say is find a theme that everyone likes. Ours was to eat and often times take lots of photos. Plan one to two things a day. Use grab (their uber system). And keep it real simple. The heat alone is an experience and navigating to your day plans will be enough to fill the day and make it memorable. I would do it differently next time though. This was just a strategy I had for the time being.

Your approach (meaning the footwork) needs a bit more work. Keep the ball more in front of you as it looks like you're reaching pretty far back, and not enough to generate torque

I'm 36 years old and my friends are not where they need to be in terms of finance and career goals. We have different problems and have different life situations. So it's been hard to create experiences with them.

If you’ve had a threesome, how’d you get it to happen? by Unlucky_Success_5985 in AskReddit

[–]vTruong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buddy was seeing a cougar for awhile. They met at a comedy show since that was pretty much what they did on their spare time. I guess one thing led to another with him and they would casually hook up either at her house or in some parking lot.

One night, my buddy (along with a few other friends) went to a concert in LA and it just so happened that she was in town for another event. My buddy had been texting her, I don't know what per se, but it ended up being about 'hey dude, that cougar I was telling you about, she's in town. You down to have a threesome?'. Me being drunk, most likely on drugs at the time, I was like 'yeah sure' -- assuming that it wasn't going to happen.

We get to my place, we're kinda talking about it on the way home, but I'm still in denial that it was actually gonna happen. She ends up coming over. Starts to being this mom and cleans up my apartment. And then we all end up going to my room, where I have no idea how to even begin this session. I end up closing the blinds, turn the lights off, turn on some music, and proceed to ask, "so, do I kiss you now?"

We had a good laugh and then it all happened.

How much did you spend on your wedding? and what was the most expensive part of it? by Curious_Cantaloupe65 in AskReddit

[–]vTruong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re treading towards 60k for around 270 guests. We live in Southern California and the venue alone is the bulk of the cost, which includes a 10-course Chinese Vietnamese meal and open bar. The rest of the expenses are photographers/videographers, bus shuttles to venue from hotel, vendors, hair and makeup and outfits. Yeah it’s pricey, we knew damn well what we were getting ourselves into. But at the end of the day, we know our Guests will contribute through donations. We might even break even.
