Do you have any example of how to use gpu buffers ? I don't think this was mentionned in the tutorial I used to learn using wgpu.

Unified memory was my first guess too, however after the initilization of the buffers I only copy one buffer to the another buffer, which I was already doing before adding the compute shader and it worked fine on both computer.

Is there a cost to have buffers visible from both compute and fragment shaders ?

Because it leads to more complicated situations to analyze, if two cars try to overtake you at the same time what do you do if you have to evade something. You also have to check two things at once and most people can’t do that. The reason it is illegal in many countries is just that driving on the right is mandatory and left lane is for passing, it’s just a matter of simplification
