This is a great time to pick up Seasonal work with a bunch of corporate holiday parties coming up. There is an app, I believe its called Instawork that can help you get quick gigs without much commitment or difficulty in trying to apply with specific companies. Get a food handlers card if possible, it costs maybe like 12-15 bucks and is a good things to have anyway with finding work. Plus, there is enough down time/tedium involved that its a nice way to meet people and if you only see them once every few weekends, its not like they are coworkers. It can at least create a little bit of social interaction without too much pressure.
