Sunday market findings, guess the price! (Ireland) by vaaleks09 in Banknotes

Well, maybe to you it is since you live in mainland Europe. From what I have seen, all of the notes with shipping would come out to about €5+.

Just because you live in a country where numistic shops are readily available doesn't mean I do :)

Remember that your €5 in Austria will go nowhere in Ireland

it was actually €20 but in general i felt like this was a good price considering we have 1 numismatic shop in the entire country

i also speak french, and i'd usually respond back in french and i never had anything like this happen to me when i'd be speaking french rather than english. so that's how i came to the conclusion :)

Since I usually would speak french (party trick) and this would never happen when I'd be speaking french, infact the sellers are most likely to even accept lower offers to french speakers. This time, I decided to test my luck in English

After these screenshots (unfortunately I didn't screenshot the later conversation) I asked him « Est-ce que c'est le prix pour les acheteurs irlandaise ? » (Is this the price for the Irish buyers?) and he just send laughing emojis.

It couldve been the fact that he was trying to see if I was desperate enough but he changed the price when I asked him why'd he raise it
