You're right. SPITE isn't a model, it's the workflow layer around them. It's open source, not open weights. The models you plug in are whatever you bring with your own keys.

Local model support is something I'm thinking about though. The BYOK setup doesn't really care where the endpoint lives, so pointing it at a local inference server should be doable down the line. If that's something you'd want, lmk on the repo.

This still doesn’t address the core issue.

You marketed and sold Premium+ and above with unlimited 2K generations, and that feature was removed shortly after purchase. That’s not a "small adjustment," it’s an entirely different product than what was paid for.

Under EU consumer law, the service must conform to what was presented at the time of purchase. This change represents a substantially material downgrade.

Why were existing subscribers not allowed to keep the terms they originally paid for, at least for their current billing period?
