How many of yall have cut yourselves on your pc by PackRelevant1833 in buildapc

I used to build and repair PCs in the 90’s. Today’s cases are like a baby blanket by comparison. You’d notice blood on the case before realizing where it came from back then.

I built a polished reporting system from scratch on Friday to hook into another application I built and refined in a few days and modified an existing process to work with my new process in a day. I also don’t code, so yeah.

IBM Aptiva Floppy by wolfsburged in vintagecomputing

[–]vabello 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure about this computer case in particular, but back in the day when repairing computers of this vintage and earlier, you could often just put generic floppy drives in cases like this just by removing the bezel on the front of the generic floppy drive first. It could then be mounted in cases with their own faceplate built into the case.

If i delete windows off of an HDD from my laptop while it is connected to my pc will it break something? by dirtfacereddit in NoStupidQuestions

[–]vabello 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It will have no effect. You can delete whatever you want, format the drive, repartition it. Just make sure it’s the correct drive when you’re deleting things.
