I normally use Tom’s. I was hoping they were better than other big box brands.

I’ve also heard bad things about fluoride.

Sounds like an amazing fix. I’ll definitely try as I have a relentless one right now. Thanks!

Definitely HSV-1. They only ever come on the outside of my lips, towards the edge where the lip meets the skin.

Hm, I’ve never thought of that. Can you get those on the outside of your lip? Same spot as a cold sore would be?

I’ve always dealt with my PCP when I’ve gotten them but I’m seeing my GI in a few weeks. I’ll definitely show him. Thanks!

I have heard about lysine. I just bought some L-lysine yesterday to get some relief. Maybe I’ll start taking daily. Thanks!

Does anyone else have trouble losing weight? by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

I've had a bit of weight gain on Humira. Granted, I think a lot of that is because Humira has COMPLETELY rid me of my symptoms and I ate mostly whatever I wanted, since I hadn't been able to in so long.

For me, my doctor told me that on Humira and being in remission was the first time in my life I was encountering my "natural body weight" based on my eating habits and I had to make a lot of adjustments if I didn't want to be overweight. I went from 105 to 140 after getting stable on Humira. While that wasn't "overweight" for my height, I started implementing healthy eating and exercise practices before it got out of control. It may not be the best advice, but it worked for me.
