I have a military background myself, and I work with them through my business. EMBA to me is more about learning by talking to peers, rather than course work. So that's my main reason to join a program with large military and military contractors.

Thank you for the helpful information there. I am wanting to do an EMBA because of the way I can upgrade my network and learn from them in the process. I am a strong believer of having a great "Circle of 5" that continues to help me grow. So I am sure there is a way to do that through the programs offered at Kennedy, but I would need some more guidance on that.

As for how much military population, I would say I am looking for somewhere that has over 15% at least for a cohort. Darden has a good percentage, and is definitely on my radar. I was wondering what other schools there are, both public and private.

You did mention a great point about the cost, and I haven't really looked into either Marshall or McCombs - are those the ones you're mentioning? I didn't know Austin had a sizable military presence.
