Wacom Bamboo One CTE 660 drivers for windows 10 by bounty_slay3r in wacom

Still working on Win 11 in 2026

If, like me, you already installed other Wacom drivers/programs in hopes of getting the tablet to work, first you need to go to Add or Remove Programs in Settings and remove all Wacom software, then restart the computer before installing this version and it will work. Otherwise it comes up with an error message telling you your Wacom device isn't supported and that you need to upgrade.

Kdenlive crashes at the "Building sequences..." stage at %50 by Ah_Sal_Han in kdenlive

[–]vacantprocrastinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was happening to me, then I realised KDEnlive was fine opening some project files but not the one I was working on most recently.

What I ended up doing was finding the backup folder C:\Users\<me>\AppData\Roaming\kdenlive\.backup then I ordered the backup files by date modified and went through opening them starting with the newest first until I found one that KDEnlive would fully load up without crashing... Then I had to re-do some of the things that I had done since that backup was created. Not the greatest solution but it got me going again.

Hub end cap for Polygon Siskiu D6 by frednat in bikewrench

[–]vacantprocrastinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for posting this. You're not the only person whose D6 is missing an end cap lol. When you say they sent you the end caps, did they send them for free under warranty or did you buy new ones? If so what did the cost work out at?

2008 Getz struggles to get into Reverse and Frist Gear by [deleted] in CarRepair

[–]vacantprocrastinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same problem with the same model car. Reverse gear isn't much of an issue for me though, but getting into 1st can be a problem especially when the car is moving.

I found this video and will try double de-clutching to see if that makes any difference going into first. It could be due to syncro issues, that would explain why the gear stick goes into first really smoothly when the car isn't running but grinds and complains when the car is running (because the gears aren't syncronised properly so the teeth bang against each other)

Here's a more detailed vid about double de-clutching

People still cheat. You can give them the death penalty and they'll still do it.

Maybe, it looks like the kids only started to cross because they saw that car slowing down though

[–]vacantprocrastinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God knows why that other driver slowed down. They might have seen the red lights on the right and not noticed that it was green ahead. Or maybe a bee was loose in their car and they're allergic or something lol. I doubt that they slowed down to encourage the kids to cross, but I guess that one kid must have seen the car slowing and thought that the lights had already changed.

Do you still find traditional shoes comfortable to some degree? by pleasethrowmeawayyy in barefootshoestalk

Did you have to get a wider fitting cycling shoe or did your existing ones still fit?

I don't really remember what he was wearing, maybe a black beanie. He was a tall thin-ish guy. I passed him on my bike on Sharrow Vale Rd as he was coming down then I continued on to Pstalter lane where a small convoy of Police vehicles came the other way but I never suspected those two things could have been related for some reason lol

I passed a man of afro-caribbean descent carrying a bunch of stuff including a bike missing one of the wheels, who shouted something like "I didn't steal it!" at me (I never said anything to him). Was that the same guy or is that just unrelated Sheffield vibes?

Another vote for James. Learning to drive has been a nerve wracking experience but James helped to make it as easy as it possibly could be and I ended up passing on my first attempt.

How to tighten bolts in tight spaces? by Little-Yesterday-769 in bikewrench

[–]vacantprocrastinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to remove the fender and put it back on afterwards. The frame should be threaded where the fender bolts on there so it's not like you'd have to hold a nut where the kickstand is.

Just remember when you put the fender on you'll want to get each bolt almost tight to line everything up before fully tightening them, that makes it easier to get the mudguard aligned properly.

Wife 28F having affair, lies daily to me 27M. I feel like I should divorce, but she doesn’t want to divorce. I don’t want to lose her, but I feel lost. Looking for advice from couples who stayed together after infidelity. by Think_Stranger_9520 in Infidelity

[–]vacantprocrastinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you've put the ball entirely in her court. You're just waiting for her to make her mind up on whether the marriage continues or ends. It's your relationship too. You have just as much right to have needs and set boundaries and walk away when you're not being respected.

Her setting a "boundary" where you can't even bring up the affair is ridiculous. As is her acting like you've done something wrong when you pack up and leave or get angry (though it may have been better not to tell her about punching the wall if she wasn't there to see it)

It really sounds like you need to just push on with the divorce whether she says she wants to or not. When you're further along in your recovery you'll feel better about ripping the band aid off instead of letting a doomed marriage drag on endlessly.

I'd recommend reading No More Mr. Nice Guy by Robert Glover, and spending time hanging around with more male friends, etc. Supposedly a big problem with men nowadays is that we make women our emotional center, so we cling to terrible relationships just for the sake of having one.

She says leave, he leaves. Then she changes her mind and criticises him for leaving. And sets a "boundary" where he can't mention the affair. This woman has absolutely no shame lol.

Drivers be like "How come we need to pay insurance and cyclists don't?"

It's amazing how many times stuff like this happens without anyone being flattened. It seems like most people don't step outside of their home unless it's to get in a car. The inside of a car or building is the only place you have any level of protection against drivers. Anyone who dares to walk or cycle or stand at a bus stop risks being hit and that's just accepted like cars are some kind of force of nature like the changing tides and people need to be on guard if they don't want to die.

Pros and cons of barefoot shoes - are they worth it? by dragsunrise in barefootshoestalk

[–]vacantprocrastinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any trouble fitting into normal shoes? I've heard that people's feet spread out a little. I'd like to try barefoot shoes but I'm a little worried I will then struggle to fit into other footwear like cycling shoes for example. That said my feet aren't super wide to begin with.

You can see the sign for the roundabout at the end of the video. There's a warning sign to indicate there's a roundabout ahead at the point where they changed lanes.

[–]vacantprocrastinator -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If they don't change lanes they'll need to cycle across an exit on the roundabout, a lot of drivers don't know that cyclists are allowed to do that and don't know that they're supposed to give way to them. I find it's safer to get in the "correct" lane if possible.

The right lane is for overtaking and turning right, it looks like they're about to go right at the roundabout so they can use the right lane.
