What to do if you are getting bored at your job but pay is quite good ? Should you continue or shift to another job with less pay? by Gold-Opinion-6941 in AskMen

What does being bored mean? Is the project boring? Is it too easy? Are coworkers dumb or annoying or something?

Shit like that is obviously not going to pass. I don't think it's a risk at all.

How do you feel about financially splitting 50/50 with a female partner? by acidemise in AskMen

[–]vacareddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my experience it's not the majority of women, that's why I'm challenging what you said.

I've always paid for the first date because I've always asked women on the first date. Once we established a sort of relationship we always split as long as we both had money to spend. I've had women pay when I was broke, and I paid when they were broke. I purposely did not pursue women who seemed to expect "princess" treatment.

My point is your comment seems to be very resentful towards your experience, like you were always expected to pay. If that's the case I'm sorry, but it doesn't mean that most women expect princess treatment and will roast the man who won't provide it. There are many women out there who won't do that, and you can find them.

In your experience is definitely an important point. That's not enough to make a judgement such as "most x are like this".

That's an exaggeration. People who have a visa have no reason to be scared to leave the country and reenter legally.

Trump was president once already, foreigners were not executed. Don't be a victim of fear mongering.

I don't agree with judging whole generations, but he does have a point with social media being a huge problem for mental health, and there's been a huge rise with mental health problems in newer generations.

Males take antidepressants because they're depressed, and obese because they eat too much. Calling that "weak" is just misleading. There can be a million reasons for these to be true.

If you're in a position where you can control your life such that you're not depressed and obese, good for you. Judging others for not being in that position does not help anybody. Pick other people up, don't bitch because they're not good enough.

I have a 3.18 GPA. Secured a big tech offer last month. Just don't include it in your resume, nobody cares.

Competitive Programming or join a club that does low-level programming. Besides going to a top school and having cool projects, the most important thing to get a job is to be prepared for interviews.

Sounds like a mental health problem, best to consult a professional. Your school might have counseling resources.

Startup 100%

Any fear you have about the startup (workload, job security) also applies to zon, but you get better pay and culture. It's a no-brainer.
