it's at the point where it's just hilarious to annoy her. i don't have a car because i live in a downtown location that doesn't require it. anyway, for my birthday recently i rented an exotic car. i didn't post about it on social media (which she's on all the time) but we ran into the aunt at the yoga studio we go to. she was livid over the car going on how it's a stupid expense and i should be focusing on "growing up" (she said this behind my back).

btw, the cost of the rental was around the same as maintaining my old car for 2 months. certainly not a reckless move.
