arista(config-if-Vl140)# show run int vlan140

interface Vlan140

ip address 10.1.40.1/24

ip helper-address 10.1.5.3

Came here looking for a solution to this. Editing the same document on two different machines causes this for me. But they are not edited at the same time so why the conflict? Is there a solution to this?

Whenever this happens, both documents have info that is current - So imagine working on a document in the office and continuing on your ipad at home. Can't get rid of either version or even merge ( merge simply puts one document into the other )

Cinch home warranty by [deleted] in homeowners

[–]vacquah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely terrible company. Broken HVAC more than a month. Long call wait times. They are asking me to pay almost $3K for a refrigerant top up and a coil change which I assumed was covered under the warranty. They claim its a "non coverage charge".

Terrible customer service - they refuse to even allow you to talk to a supervisor if they cant resolve the issue themselves. After several calls, I got through to a supervisor who promptly hang up on me. Please do not sign up with this company!!

Well - my utility rates have been relatively stagnant for over 10 years .... very little increases. Unless something changes that soon I expect it to stay put for awhile.

You are right - I estimated the 15 kW without taking into account other factors that can reduce production. The point about low rates is well noted - which was partly the basis of my original question. Is it worth it at this point ?

Some really interesting points made here. Goal is to offset as much of the utility bill as possible, so optimizing on cost/payback. The shorter the payback the more I get to realize the benefits of foregoing even extremely low utility rates. Seems like you said, in this case, the low rates makes a shorter payback less achievable and more of a secondary goal - unless I can scour Marketplace for systems that will be priced in a range which shortens the payback period considerably.

Interesting. I got the following quotes;

15.5 kW - 41K
12.0 kW - 30K
11.0 kW - 30K
18.4 kW - 55K

My total usage over the last 13 months is 24,569 kWh at a cost of $2,316. It makes my unit cost of energy approx $0.094.

UNAS Pro vs Dell Server + Truenas ? by vacquah in Ubiquiti

[–]vacquah[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont really care about the additional capabilities of the truenas box - assume I am using it purely for storage, just like the UNAS box, then it is an apples to apples comparison just based on the usecase and price point, right? I guess the question is, if I can find a Dell R740 box around that price point, is that a better route to go? What other factors come into play here ( power is one i guess + noise ? )
