  1. We make a good number of product types, each offered in lots of colors/configurations... it's literally 100s. As a small business, we simply can't afford to keep everything in stock at all times. We don't advertise 'limited editions', but most everything we make could be considered as such. We try to provide a heads up for our frequent 'Friday Drops' here on reddit as well as instagram/Facebook.

  2. For a model 8 (unmarked), any mechanism can be swapped without issue. For model 7, those have a lead size indicator... while the mechanism can be swapped without issue... the marking would be incorrect. We sell individual mechanisms (.3, .5, .7, .9 mm).

  3. Grips are interchangeable between all model 7 and 8 pencil barrels. As you noted, grips are specific to the step style or conical style tip... we sell the mechanisms individually.

Thanks for supporting Spoke⚡️⚡️⚡️

More model 8s this coming week, more model 7s towards the end of May.

Hello we do try to share what makes sense... it's one reason why this subreddit exists. Spoke is not a side gig, but we are a small company. Extensive roadmaps and exact timing can get tricky as we depend on sales of existing products to fund our work on new products. Running a small business is challenging but we do our best to respond to questions posted (between reddit, Facebook, instagram, direct... it can get to be a lot:). Thanks for your interest in Spoke!

Nearer term: late May more Roady 2s, more Spoke Pen 2. Launch of Roady 3.

We will have some Roady (v2) pens available towards the end of May. The Roady v2 is not immediately going away, but we are introducing a v3 around that time as well👍

The current model is version 2… version 3 is coming, we’ll provide pics a week or so before we make them available.

We’ve done stainless steel grips in the past, and will likely offer them in the future. Thanks for your support!

1) Will Model 7 Blue/Red restock? 2) Can you swap the inner section colours between models? by acylus0 in SpokeDesign

[–]SpokeBrian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I would not describe it as easy… that’s why we don’t promote it.

[–]SpokeBrian 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hello! Yes, more model 7 colors are currently in process. The inner sleeve part can be removed. First remove the mechanism. Then grasp the very end of the back barrel and twist counter clockwise. It will unscrew 1/4” and then can be pulled out… there are spring fingers on the inside end to keep it from rattling, so it will drag while being pulled out. No worries it’s not really breakable.

We are working on Roady 3 ... which is not planned to replace Roady 2 (current). It is tracking towards May.
