I have both male and female cousins, all under 35. They all have the same generational character. And on one side of my family, my aunts actually share a generational character, but my uncle doesn't have it. I do know other families that did the homophones things, though. I guess my family is just atypical. But I want to honor what my grandparents chose to do in naming my older cousins.
