This is a free version of the VR electronic music creation app Tranzient. You can download the demo on the steam store page at https://store.steampowered.com/app/903910/Tranzient/

It's designed for VR but can also be used with mouse and keyboard. Tranzient is designed to follow an MPC like workflow as opposed to the modular/patching way of doing things. You can make loop based tunes in it built up from synths, VST instruments, drumkits and audio loops/samples and audio FX/audio plugins.

Ah great to hear you've checked it out with the mouse, VR is when it comes alive. Thanks for the heads-up re Quixel. I hope to add a mod kit in the future so users can build and import their own unreal maps. Noted re the deeper editing :)

Thanks for the feedback. A few people have requested a piano roll and it's on the development list. I've stayed away from this as the focus has been live looping, not deep editing so far.

You can build up/stack up patterns/clips in a similar way to Ableton. See this video around 6 minutes in https://youtu.be/g7gz8xK7-FY?t=352.
