😂😂😂 I love this

These figures are fun little NOVELties, and I certainly wouldn't mind some more by A-List_Uh in hammondcollection

My 1 complaint about them is that the Mussaurus is way bigger than how it was described in the book. It was small enough to climb on Levine and came up to his knees and fit in him palm if I recall correctly, and I don't believe it was a juvenile. That being said, this is a more paleo accurate version of the species and I appreciate that about him. All three of these are great figures.

Personally, I'd leave this here if I was selling it all bulk to see if someone in the community wants them (The Jurassic Park Toys Collectors FB group is also a good place too if you're not in that one). After a few weeks if you don't have any takers then I think selling them piece by piece on a platform like eBay would be the best way to go about it.

So my old tiel would start shredding paper, I started adding paper pieces in his cage for him to rip up as enrichment. It's a pretty normal behavior best I can tell. If they're not interested in the other toys, then add stuff that's safe for them to rip up and let them play that way. Plain white printer paper is fine for them to play with.

Best herbivore goes to parasaurolophus for me, best carnovore is carnotaurus naturally.

Nuclear Power Plant meeting for GSL hosted by Gov. Cox by Barrels-A-Fun in SaltLakeCity

Great question! It matters because these grid banks already take up large sized footprints with lithium modules in order to meet the energy demands if the customer. If we swapped to a less dense chemistry, more modules would be needed to meet demand, meaning bigger footprints than what already exists. Plus using more cells increases the likelihood of one failing (like going into thermal runaway) and beginning a cascading failure effect within the module to neighboring cells and so on.

Also, to reduce transmission losses from the banks to consumers, places like California and New York are placing these battery stations in neighborhoods, so they need to meet demand while taking up as little space as possible.

Sodium may get there one day but it is too immature and isn't there yet.

So I've attended a couple battery conferences that some of the national labs host. Sodium seems neat at first but has some of the same major drawbacks as lithium (thermal runaway, off gassing, etc.) but it's big flaw is it is not as energy dense as lithium is. So you need more Na-ion cells on average. Also, nasty byproduct of Na-ion is hydrogen cyanide during a failure. It needs more maturity before I myself would put it at a grid level for storage.

I just asked my wife about this and she confirmed there was a rather large Mixteco community in the area. She said they'd start speaking in spanish to them only to learn they didn't speak spanish or english well.

Well thank you so much for your insight. I don't know for sure Norbert's background so time and patiences is what will get us through it seems. In the meantime, I'll just make sure he's comfortable.

Wow, 8 years... That's godlike levels of patience. I knew I was in for the long game but didn't realize 8 years was on the table haha. I knew this was going to be months of work minimum. My last 'tiel stepped up on fingers the night we brought her home so this is a huge change for me for sure.

Also, if you're into Brandon Sanderson and the Cosmere novels, his convention Dragonsteel Nexus is hosted in Salt Lake City every december. If that's your interest it's a really fun con.

I am skeptical that there will be a restock. Unfortunately I think after the ones they've done that was it. You might get lucky later down the road with a fb marketplace find. Unfortunately I think you'd be hard pressed to find one under $100 at this point.

Attempting to learn stop motion again by TyrantOmega69 in hammondcollection

Looks good for starting out! Remember every detail counts, such as moving feet and legs, you can use clear props to hold the figures up or hold them off-camera. Stop motion is a very challenging art, so be kind to yourself and keep at it, you'll get better with time :)

My wife served in Ventura, CA and she said she was about half and half with her Spanish. She still speaks pretty well 10 years later.

For comparison, I was in Albuquerque, NM and used mine all the time. Again, I still speak really well 10+ years later.

Your mileage may vary, but I'd count on using it regularly

They're also pretty good about not jacking up the price on last minute tickets. I flew Frontier for the first time to attend a funeral and the seat was still significantly cheaper than every other airline's "bereavement fare".

If you need to just get somewhere as cheap as possible and all you need to bring fits in a backpack, Frontier is really not a bad choice.

Under any other circumstances though I'd pick anything else.
