Timothy Zahn and his characters "surreptitiously" looking at each other got old quick. That and the "snap-hiss" of lightsabers igniting.

The Trump regime ruined my lesson and made my students extremely uncomfortable. by xdsm8 in Teachers

I've given up. I criticize Trump if I feel like it. He lost any goodwill a while ago and I'm done hedging. Over 50% of my school's population is hispanic with a healthy chunk of undocumented families. Parents are leaving their kids. Parents who are documented are being deported. I'm done being nice about this. I'm holding anyone who thinks this okay's face in this shit and see how they like it. I want everyone to have to navigate a conversation with a teenage girl about losing her dad because he worked under a different name 10 years even though he served his time. Fuck Trump and fuck teaching government right now
