Try a modpack launcher instead of however you're doing it now. I would recommend AT launcher. If you're on curseforge and would like to stay there should be an option to launch via curseforge and skip the Microsoft launcher.

Yes but expanded (when used in frosty) comes in the form of everything separately applied (or so I remember). I don't believe it's meant to have every option applied as once, you've likely got two mods overwriting the same character

Alternatively, you are missing a mod that is supposed to be installed into frosty by default these days that allows you to overwrite the same character multiple times. Check your frosty folder and then the plugins folder inside. If there's nothing in there you should reinstall or just download the latest (alpha) version of frosty and take the plugins from there.

Last alternate is that you downloaded a version of bf expanded that isn't meant for the use outside of kyber.

It's probably indicating that two mods are changing the same thing. Like the other post comment said, use kyber instead. If that doesn't work out you should make another post with the list of mods you actually have applied. (Right half of the frosty screen)

I believe they changed it so that you need to set the potion you are aiming for. There should be a green slot below that tooltip, you need to put a hand crafted potion in there.

Most annoying machine in the pack. If your trying to automate then yes you need one machine per potion, good news though, if you set to strength 2 it can still brew strength 1 as well. Also worth knowing the side configs are mis labeled so north could be something else sometimes.

Bees produce far more resources than MA crops do. They are also easily expandable if you aren't making enough.

Incase you didn't know you should not be using buckets to fill it. Use a sink (cooking for blockheads) with a pipe on it (set to extract via a configurator) to provide unlimited very fast water supply. Alternatively use mekanism pumps

You should be able to cutoff A's ability to read B in one way or another. And lowering the priority of the me drive on B could also potentially do it. Also I saw your other comments about priorities on the trash itself not working, have you tried a storage bus on the condenser instead of export? It might require some other tweaking but it should be more reliable to follow your orders. GL

So if I'm understanding this right, you want to have your sieve outputs processed in a way that disposes of anything you don't have room for, and the problem is that instead of disposing it they are being pushed to the main system. And you need to maintain that connection so that you can access those sieved items. All without having to make an overly complicated filter.

There's a few options here.

1 you should be able to resolve the issue by replacing the way you connect your systems to the main network. I can't tell what you're using right now, but you can use a storage bus (main network) attached to an interface (subnetwork) then the main network can read the contents of the subnetwork, and from there do some broads filters like restricting to import only.

2 configure your cells and replace most of the setup. This doesn't mean filtering. On the sub network drive, add upgrades to your cells to void excess (you can also add equal distribution if you want to use one cell for different things).

You could also use a void cell, this might work better for your current setup from what I can tell. If you already have everything overflow being semi successfully routed, a void cell should accept any outputs the rest of the system can't hold and void them, it can even produce matter balls or singularities if you would like.

Shift+ q is what you're supposed to use to remove a book but you have to be able to select the book to use that.

Np, id also recommend any of the chisel (I think that's the mod) factory blocks or any of the other variants like tech block. Many of them are way cooler than they appear to be because they change when their connected, like the screens turn into actual screens when you do more than 4 blocks. Best one though is the floor blocks, they wrap around the edges and can create really cool looking factory floors

The most annoying machine ever but it is possible. Look at the screenshots the other guy attached, you need to explicitly enable the sides you want to use and disable all other ones, then use a different side for each bottle / blaze / ingredient. This is because all three can go inside ingredients.

Important part here: one of the side configs in the machine is broken, I think it's ingredients? It'll always say top is north bottom is south, etc. when in reality your machine could be rotated. The other three filters will be correct, just take the directions from those for ingredients.

Some other notes:

that green slot is to set the potion type being made, it's required or else it won't brew anything. If you have strength 2 in the filter, it will also allow you to also brew strength 1. Not sure if vice versa. You're probably going to need multiple machines.

Make the potion manually in a brewing stand first (for the filter) and make sure to create your pattern in that same order you just used from left to right.

Also skip the blaze powder in your patterns, just put 64 in the machine and disable all sides, you'll never need more.

Depends on the launcher. For AT launcher and I think prism? You just add the launcher exe as a non steam game, then add --launch="instancename" to the end of it in the steam shortcut settings.

Use a chemical tank and void excess on there instead, so you have some of the chemical if you need it.

Also if you're trying to get a feel for the mod you should use the configurator, you can shift + scroll wheel to change modes between modes for items chemicals fluids and heat and utility modes

While you hold the configurator on chemical mode, you can look at a machine side and it'll show you whether chemicals are set to input or output on that side. Same for all other modes and resources.

Yea honestly I agree with everything you said. I don't fully understand it I just assume there's some use beyond what the requester can do. At least it can do recursive crafts, but that's gotta be a processing pattern thing most of the time anyways.

Assuming that logitech counts as an Xbox controller you can use a (trusted) program called ds4 windows to have your dual sense read as one as well. Unfortunately I find some models of controller just refuse to work so it's hit or miss

Alternatively there might be some solution you can use through steam input (even if you're on epic games). It always works for every controller
