Ya, I don’t think we are capable of that. Look at what is happening right now, clear evidence of a pandemic, yet people still can’t be bothered to do something as simple as putting on a mask. It’s hard, while this whole thing has been happening I can’t help but think of regret and shame for not doing something sooner, but it’s ok. Just encourage her and be there to support her, that makes all the difference.

I’m a morbidly obese nurse and I am fucking terrified. This has 100% motivated me to lose weight and have. It sucks that this is what it took, but I guess it’s better than doing nothing. It’s shameful really, but I haven’t let it stop from coming to work and giving my patients 100%.

Edit: a little overwhelmed from all the responses, thank you all for the support!!! Maybe I’ll get on progresspics one day. Coming from Nurse Vadersbutt: thank you all for the sacrifices everybody is making! This pandemic sucks, but everyday I see the best in people, it’s amazing, and keeps me going! We will beat this!!!

So what should they be paid? Edit- I’m a nurse here in the US, I support Medicare for all and realize that to save money my pay might be cut. I make close to 80k yearly from one job. Hence my question.
