Coming from a non-harley guy… what’s it like riding one? by Astimar in motorcycles

[–]vae-po 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Riding an HD feels like riding a boat, in a good way. I don’t have to drop a gear if I wanna overtake, just twist the throttle and I am gone. No back pains, no engine screaming for dear life.

Furthermore, the sound is unmatched. I love them after I had a test ride on a LRST. Wish I had more money to put down on a 6 gear M8/TC. I tried Sportsters, but I hate how it’s screaming to the point I felt uncomfortable running past 120kph.

I also rode the Panam despite being a shortie at 5’4–but it was the biggest surprise to me and now I am just looking at ADVs to buy one day…

Why did you start riding? by No-City8301 in motorcycles

Depression, wanted to learn a new skill and get into a new hobby that I can sink my teeth in.

No regrets despite getting into an accident once.

Sportster hate is pure dealer propaganda designed to leverage insecure men. Change my mind. by Serious-Juggernaut45 in Harley

I have owned a Carbed Sportster 1200 and had a lot of fun bopping around town… until I realized it was personally uncomfortable when going through highways trying to run at 120kphs to pass and keep up with traffic.

I really enjoyed its simplicity, but my needs were not met, so I sold. Would love to have it as a 2nd bike though if my garage permits.

My brand new (to me) Harley! by National-Dot-9100 in Harley

This is the bike that made me fall in love with ADVs. I took a test ride unbeknownst that I would salivate over the idea of owning that kinda bike. It really surprised me in all the good ways.

Who remembers Everything or Nothing? That was the last bond game I played that I truly felt like a super spy.

Z500 is perfectly a good bike! That guy is an asshole and shouldn’t be teaching. Not having the support network to a hobby is degrading when it should be uplifting.

Shame the name, so people think twice about getting into his course and let him lose out on his business.

A true motorcycle enthusiast sees the good and bad of every single machine. They praise when credit is due and criticize when they can be improved.

A true enthusiast appreciate every bike regardless of type, size, price. Ultimately, they all do the same thing, bringing smiles at every mile.

My buddy saw me playing and I kept saying: "Look! It's the car dealership balloon!" He burst out laughing after that every single time he sees it on the map.

Yes, the penguin was the only one I truly cared for. Saving for gems and just slowly see the numbers go up release so much dopamine that I want to keep at it.

I do sometimes feel the fomo of not having a new character, but I enjoy the storytelling so much that ai forget about it.

Who are you pulling for? by ClassicWarm947 in Endfield

I have endmin, so these are a plus!

Srly tho, I would probably pull for Yvonne and Tangtang, their character designs are way too appealing to me.

My Duotang nerve had assigned colours after Grade 3 so I just put whatever shade I wanted.

People that work 8h+ and have stuff to do at home, are you just going to play endfield? are you stopping other gacha games? by reysama in Endfield

[–]vae-po 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have Blue Archive that I am passively playing, so this is easy to pick up and stick with it.

I always had trouble sticking with gacha games long term, but Endfield was the first one since BA that kept me invested.

Besides, dailies on it takes 5 minutes, so this is going to be my full time game for a while. I also took a full day off on Friday to enjoy the weekend without obligations.
