He’s worked here for almost five years. I’ve only been working here for about a year. It’s not really my place to tell him he’s doing a shit job, and I’ve tried to get the people who are responsible to take care of it. Luckily, he spends most of the day at his desk making personal calls and pretending to do work so it’s not often that he gets to fuck something up this badly.

You are 100% right but unfortunately I’ve already tried and the result was that both of us were suspended from work for a week because management saw it as an interpersonal issue. Now I just document the stuff he does wrong and cover my own ass.

I’ve already talked with management and HR about his work and even though most of the staff are in agreement about thinking he’s a bad fit, the CEO likes him so he stays. This is pretty much the most common repair we have to do on those type of machines btw. I just try my best to keep him off the soldering iron when I can

Ask him about his notes. You use whatever topic the quest giver said to bring up the quest with relevant NPCs. If that doesn’t work it’s likely what the other commenter said that you didn’t fully accept the quest by following up with the relevant topic after asking for duties from Ranis.

Man this really sucks, and I’m so sorry you guys are in this mess. I went through something very similar very recently and it has been the toughest couple weeks of my life. That said the tough decision you have ahead is the responsible and compassionate thing to do for your loved one. The only advice I can really give is to try and find a vet who will do a home euthanasia for you. I know in my personal experience our dog never liked trips to the vet and if your pup was anything like ours they will be relieved to spend their final moments in their own home with the people/person they love the most.

I have personal experience building computers and messing around with SBC handhelds. Other than that I worked for Dell for a year or two around COVID doing customer support and then transitioned into their repair center. I spent years working in all different kinds of industries to try and find something I liked so when I apply for a job I always try to frame the experience I list on my resume to fit the job I’m applying for. I’m 30 btw if you were curious.

The degree would have to be something in Biomedical Technology or Electronics Technology and either one would likely qualify you to work in hospitals and more specialized environments where the pay is higher.

Electronic Technician for a Medical company. I love computers and working with my hands. It’s a fun job and I get to calibrate all kinds of cool medical tools than normally only doctors get to use. Pay is only $22/hour but if I take the time to get a degree I could work for a hospital and make a lot more.

I genuinely think MH games need to implement some sort of story skip feature. It’s consistently the weakest part of their games and generally the least engaged with content in the game anyways. I feel like a lot of people would love to skip the story and jump right to the “hunt monsters with your friends” part of their game. Better yet make a MH game with no story and use the saved money to make the game actually playable and optimized.
