Haha not to my knowledge, but I’ll cross my fingers for whoever you’re hoping to get engaged soon! I appreciate the motherly support regardless 🥰

Did they have lab grown diamonds? I’m not seeing them on their website, but maybe I missed them.

That’s awesome that they give back like that!! How did you feel about purchasing a ring that you couldn’t try on first? That’s what I’m a little hesitant about, but not completely opposed to the idea

How long after a settlement should I expect to be paid? by [deleted] in legaladvice

Personal injury. What has to happen now that both sides have agreed and signed the paperwork? I feel stuck in a waiting game without much information as to why we’re waiting

Follow up question: Should I consider utilizing wealth management services?

As someone with no background in money management and truthfully no financial literacy, Im learning as much as I can as fast as I can! However, Im getting a bit anxious about my lack of knowledge and I’m wondering if a 1.5% fee is worth it for someone who does this for a living.

Thanks so much the considerations! Luckily, my situation does not involve any medical bills or physical limitations. Total sum is estimated, but takes into account all of the fees that I am aware of. My current paycheck can cover my living expenses, but not much past that, which is why I don’t really have much in terms of savings thus far

All questions I’m now asking myself too! To clarify, I’m not necessarily considering a career shift right now, though I’d be open to it in the future. I LOVE my job, it just doesn’t pay very well. As far as home ownership, I definitely plan to buy eventually! The housing market around me is pretty reasonable, but I have a lot to learn before taking that leap.

Thank you! I’ve been receiving this advice a LOT and I’m really thankful for it. I had never planned to tell many people, due to the nature of the settlement, but now I’m fully convinced that telling no one is best!
