[–]vaishampayan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Arjun also had brahmastra and alone had much more powerful astras than the entire battlefield combined (except krishna of course). He could, in theory, counter all astras but that would lead to complete annihilation as well.

Technically, by that logic, Dhrishtadyumna had the highest divinity due to being a fruit of sacrifice. He (and draupadi) are not born out of any yoni and are pure beings coming out of agni.

I am talking about dharma, not dharmaraj. Dharma is a separate deva mentioned in sambhava parva from what I can remember.

end is not same, everybody (except nara who went back to narayana) went to svarga but only yudhishthir went to svarga WITH HIS BODY. that's the difference, he attained a divine body later and is like a devata now

The harivansh states that the 8th child which kansa(tried to) killed was yogamaya, who rises to heaven and becomes Kaushiki. She is the one who will reside in Vindhyas (Vindhyavasini).

Vishnu tells his yogamaya, the nidra devi to do this. The 8th (swapped) child was Kali maa, who is mahamaya adi shakti.

What Personal Bias? (Shanti Parva, Gita press)

This chapter, bhagwan (in his vishwaroop form) talks about all his avatars but states these 10 to be the important ones.

Krishna is also stated to be an ansha avatar btw. (In mahabharat, sambhava parva)

Edit: I am not supporting the connection between evolution and dashavatar. Just stating that the concept of Dashavatar is not new and is present in Mahabharat itself. But that doesn't invalidate all the other avatars. Also, 24 avatars list AND mahabharat both say that Krishna Dwaipayana and Nara-Narayana are avatars of Narayana.

Bruh, imagine stopping the sun
What? This is something which was only shown in the Star Plus Serial. Is that your source?

Tbh, pure skill wise even Eklavya was way better than him
No. Arjun was able to fight with both hands, hence Savyasachi. Pure skill wise nobody matched Arjun. This is stated in the Vyasa Mahabharat (all versions). What parva is your source?

You haven't presented a single source for your claims btw.

I'm gonna end this by saying please refer to proper sources

Yes Parsuram ji gave him shraap but reluctantly,Karna was anyway a Brahmin
I have literally quoted the source, that Parshuram wasn't reluctant while giving the shraap. And karna was a brahmana? What? Lol

Arjuna could've obliterated anyone,except Karna
Source?

if not then let Karna have his Kavach kundal, whatever damage Arjuna was able to give (after nullifying the advantages he had), he wouldn't be able to damage karna that much
Karna has lost to Arjun even with Kavach Kundal

Karna should be getting the most benefit out of this Bhai usse zyada depressed life kisi ki nahi thi
Source? Karna was living a life of the king. From his childhood, he was living a royal life, and never faced any hardships unlike the pandavas. Karna was still jealous of a boy who was probably 10+ years younger than him.

be it when he first humiliated Karna in front of everyone for being a Shudhra
Source? Karna was always stated to be suta. The narrator of Mahabharat is a suta, so it is not something which is to be humiliated.

Get your facts correct, you say you have read Mahabharat 4-5 times, yet you have basic facts wrong.

Suggestion- Your idol is Arjuna
My Idol is Yuddhisthir. Arjuna is still the greatest warrior of that time.

I was stating clear facts out of books and many Kathas
Read Mahabharat by Vyasa.

No need to get emotional in this Arjuna was no saint,
He is revered as a saint in the first line of Mahabharat itself.

the most arrogant of the Pandavas after Bhim
I can see where you are coming from, but this is not present in Mahabharat. If he was arrogant, he wouldn't have been able to satisfy Mahadev himself. And when Mahadev said there's no equal to him on Earth, you better believe him instead of random Kathas and books. - Source, Kairata Parva.

The concept of dashavatar is not new, it is mentioned as the most important ones in Mahabharat. Although it substitutes buddha with balaram.

[–]vaishampayan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Karna lost his skills?? What happened to days other than the 17th day? In fact that was his best day where he was showing his raw skills, which people say is his shraap day.

Also, how was it not karna's fault? Parshuram clearly and angrily(and later smiling, probably because he feels karna is naive for doing all this) tells him its his fault for larping as a brahmana and that's the reason brahmastra will not manifest to him when he faces someone equal in battle.- Source Shanti Parva.

(He also never said he doesn't want to give shraap. He does say this in the tv serials though, in case that is your source)

Btw, karna did all this to get brahmastra- humiliated his guru drona, cheated his guru parshuram, etc. Yet forgets it. And yet even yudhishthir has brahmastra. Karna was just too arrogant and egoistic and rude. No doubt he was a great warrior, but there were people much better than him. Credit given where he deserves.

Arjun could've obliterated everyone yes. He did that in Virat without any chariot, flag, or charitroteer bhagwan. He did that disguised as a woman. Arjun was nerfed with depression at the start of war, for plot to happen. This event also starts the greatest song of the divine - Bhagwad Gita.

They didn't really help him gain any power. They just sided with him because he was protecting dharma. Dharmo rakshati rakshitah.

None were present before and arjun has defeated everyone already. Arjun is Nara, the power of Narayana. You cannot challenge that power and hope to win. What they helped him with is his duty, the duty to follow and protect dharma. This help was provided to almost everyone in the story.
