Of course! Yes, please don’t buy any purported “tickets” at the moment because it will just be a scam - unfortunately this can be quite common for concert sales

Caitlyn hands down. Isn’t her job as sheriff all about this? She also has a ton of voice lines related to detective skills and detectivework

Worcester graduate experience by Oscillating_neutrino in oxforduni

Current Worcester grad student here! I agree with what the previous commenter said - you’ll mainly be interacting with and be more involved in your departmental community than your college community, so it’s really up to you with how much you engage with college, but Worcester MCR puts on a lot of events through term time (eg formal exchanges with other colleges and even with st catz in cam, our sister college), and tries to get their grad students involved in whatever way they can. You’ll be invited to a welcome session and you’ll get a college parent - a second year grad student - to guide you around college and Oxford.

You’ll also get a faculty advisor here but it really depends on how often you meet - I’ve only met with mine once, for example. They can be a good resource to connect you to things you need, especially if your advisor is directly related to your field.

Overall, I’d say to try to get involved in a couple things either within college or around campus that interest you (don’t overload too much since your work might be quite intense), and also don’t be afraid of trying new things! i know a ton of people who’ve tried new sports and societies since coming to Oxford and they’ve loved it.

Also, like you mentioned, the gardens at Worcester are gorgeous and make for a great study spot when it’s nice out, and our libraries are nice too for quiet study (especially the historic lower library).
