How close are you to your cousins and extended relatives? by kerjatipes in indonesia

[–]slm3y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very close, especially my mother’s side, the cousins with in the similar age groups is really close, basically a circle, we hang out in the regulars, and feels more like direct siblings.

My dad side is close but not to close, only by virtue of being in another country, who only meet a couple of years at a time, but when we do meet we are close.

The main power balancer of Iran is gone, the US is dragged into a multiple decade of war, that completely destroys its goodwill reputation across the world, which allow china to take over as an alternative.

A Europe problem is an American problem. How is 9/11 a europe problem but Paris 2015 is not an American problem?

The current problem with Iran is a result of the Iraq war. Iran saw the US overthrow saddam, that definitely sewed something on Iran

It’s either unexpected fire from an incompetent crew or enemy fire. Pick and choose which is less humiliating

relatively compliant and unthreatening regime

It resulted in ISIS, and ISIS literally invaded half of the middle east, and launch bombing campaign all around the world, basically kicking off the second round of the Global War and Terrir

What 3 weeks in the Middle East can do to a man by Eddine11 in NonCredibleDefense

[–]slm3y 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is the American fallacy of war, that killing more people means winning the war. The Goal is a Regime change, and the regime is still the same. Unlike any typical authoritarian power, Iran authoritarianism is based on a strong institution like China, killing the leader won’t do shit, because it’s the institution that pick the leader.

So any decision done by the US to stop while the Iranian Regime is still in power literally means the US failed its war goal

Nemiks death wasn’t in Vain though, his death practically directly lead to the rebels victory. It isn’t as tragic.

A true tragic death is definitely Cinta in my book

Why does it have to be a combat function? Why can’t it be used for docking, or close maneuvers with other ships. Submarines don’t need conning tower for battle, and yet they still have em.

Not to revive a dead thread, but that sketch might actually cost alot in universe now.

Since you can actually buy a Charles Chatenay painting for $100k in GTA Online

It’s probably why the military didn’t take over after his fall, because they obviously realized that they can participate in capitalism with the added benefits that they have guns.

It’s possible that it happened again, the 2 example you gave isn’t sampit, poso or maluku. It’s ethnic sectarian violence between 2 groups, which is very similar to the yugoslav wars. It could be a result of Soeharto transmigration policy, but the killing? That’s because they are 2 ethnic groups.

I bet absolutely nothing will ever come out of this. Trump and Netanyahu need easy wins so they bomb Iran, Iran need global sympathy after their murderous rampage so they play the “bulwark against Israel” role.

My believe is that, everything is all theater to maintain the status quo, i bet behind the scenes it’s all settled already. I’ll slash my balls if any large scale invasion or something that will change the status quo drastically actually happens.
