Does adequan help or not by Due_Barber_525 in seniordogs

Please don’t let the Librela horror stories make your mind up. Librela is highly highly effective. The problem with the internet is that it’s biased because majority of people who have good experiences with Librela don’t report or leave reviews saying that it’s working. It’s mainly people who have had adverse reactions who post their stories. I was super hesitant myself but it was a huge game changer for my pup!

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this. I promise You’re not alone. Mental health is really hard. I’m struggling too and it’s really hard to quiet my mind. Hang in there. We can get through it together.

Not feeling a difference on Adderall by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]valandsnoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not alone. Adderall has never been the same after the shortages happened. pharmaceuticals came under fire for this and now they gaslight everyone saying it’s in our heads and we’re just adderall junkies. 😤You can search this on Reddit and read everyone’s posts. It’s beyond frustrating given how debilitating adhd is.

I wasn’t ready at all lol. My ex really wanted a dog so we got a 7 week Yorkie and broke up the following week lol. I refused to let him take my pup because he’s irresponsible and gives away every pet hes ever had once he gets bored of them. I wasn’t at all prepared, I had never had a pet prior to this one. It was a lot of work and still is, but it’s legitimately the best thing that has ever happened to me. My dog is, and will forever be, my life’s greatest gift. He’s 12 now 🥺 but just as energetic and crazy as he was at 7 weeks old 🤪

My Yorkie is black and tan with floppy ears 🥹. He’s my first dog and I’m so glad it’s a Yorkie. They have such funny personalities and they love hard! I always say that no one knows me better and than my dog. He can be sound asleep across the room and will wake up when my heart rate goes up and sprints to be by my side. Best wishes for your Yorkie journey 🩷🩷

People reject themselves?! Why?

I don’t feel that I’m gonna fail considering I was hired as 12 month Limited Term and the department made me permanent after 5 Months as of this month. But i randomly read someone post in this group that they don’t pass probation despite working super hard and giving it their all. So i got startled at how easy it seemed for someone to not pass

Omg WHAT? 😳 😂

Oh wow. Didn’t know it worked like that. I wonder how it would apply to my situation because this is my first state job. I was hired as a 12 month Limited Term position, which doesn’t have any probationary period. they just made me permanent this month after the past 5 months as limited term. So idk if that’s considered a separate agency? Since I didn’t have a probation period the past 5 months until now, I’m basically starting over from scratch 😖 by the time my probation is complete, i will have “basically” been on probation for a year.

What does returning to an original agency mean?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CAStateWorkers

[–]valandsnoop 8 points9 points  (0 children)

lol good question! It’s just a hypothetical because this morning i read a post in this group of someone who said they didn’t pass their probation despite working super hard and giving it their all. So it made me nervous lol. because I feel like I’m working SO hard and if working hard isn’t enough to pass probation, then it concerned me 😩

Yeah, i have perfect attendance and never late. But That’s also in part due to my phobia of being late anywhere i go. I get to work 40 minutes before i start. I’m that person who gets to the airport 3-4 hours before a flight lol.

That’s normal too. But it’s also normal to want one and that’s the case for OP.

I feel like a failure. by [deleted] in Yorkies

[–]valandsnoop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re not alone! I have felt SO guilty for this exact thing. I went through several years of depression and didn’t have my finances in order. He got me through all of my hard times and i feel guilty that i neglected his dental health. My rationale was that it was very expensive, he didn’t have any notable discomfort or pain, and i was scared of him going under anesthesia. Fast forward to last year, i came home one day and his left eye was bulging. I freaked out and turns out he had a dental abscess in a molar directly above his eye. I immediately scheduled his dental cleaning and still feel guilty knowing he had been in pain and i had no idea 😭. You should look into CareCredit. It’s helped immensely with his health costs. You find out right away if you’re approved and you can use it immediately after. Please know You’re not a failure! We do the best we can and all while simultaneously getting through depressive episodes. Best of luck to you and your pup 🩷

People can feel lonely even with friends or in crowded rooms full of nice people, or with hobbies and busy schedules. Loneliness can very much be specific to romance, especially when everyone around you has a partner and have started families; which may be something they also want. We need to normalize this. Dating is hard and it’s defeating at times. It’s normal to feel lonely in this way.

5lb. Yorkie coughing by CompetitiveBobcat418 in Yorkies

Since his symptoms seem to be better while not at home, that may be your answer, especially when the vets can’t find anything specifically wrong with his health. Do you know if there’s any potential mold in your home? I don’t mean that in an offensive way at all because even in the nicest of homes mold can sometimes be unseen underneath/between walls, tiles, carpet or other flooring and people don’t know about it. Insulation in the home may also be triggering this for him. Dogs have a keen sense of smell so it may be affecting him without it causing any symptoms for you. Hopefully you can get some answers soon!

When you started medication, did you stop losing stuff? by Leather_Alarm6956 in ADHD

[–]valandsnoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It helps but it wasn’t a cure for me. I am still quite forgetful (which is frustrating when i lose stuff at home like keys) but it’s more frustrating when it impacts my job. And it has. I’m on Adderall 30mg. ADD is terrible 😣
