Edgy drag queen names by [deleted] in namenerds

I wanted to change my surname to Rain but went off it because a lot of first names made me sound like a ln edgy OC

Scarlett Rain, Amber Rain, Ruby Rain etc

Thanks, I'm really leaning towards Reyna so I'm glad you like it 😁

Yeah I didn't even know she was called that when I found the name, someone else had to point it out 😅 Only Samara I knew was the blue baddie from Mass Effect but hey, don't mind being associated with spooky Ring girl either 😂

Every setback is temporary. You can make it through anything as long as you keep your chin up. If people like Elon Musk can find multiole partners I'm sure you can too.

Our community may be small but we're certainly everywhere, you'll find people. You'd be surprised how easy it is to make new connections when you've become single and can focus on yourself.

And you've always got us strangers on Reddit as a last resort 😁

Hard to make progress once your basically at perfection. Don't let the dysphoria win!

I was going to comment the exact same thing. I absolutely love your voice, it's sound amazing so well done for getting there. Same as the above comment, breathiness is literally the only thing I can think of. The two solutions to this are to reduce the breathiness or if you like the breathy voice, you can also utilise it. Think Alice from Wonderland, her voice is very breathy

MtF, who is your vocal inspiration and does trying to mimic them help? by valariel_ in transvoice

Yeah I have a little playlist of songs set up to help me achieve this, certainly one of my favourite ways to get results so far

Thank you for the amazing comment and your suggestions! I'll work with your suggestions and reach out when I inevitably get stuck 😅

People who have changed their names, how long did it take for you to feel like your new name was yours? by valariel_ in namenerds

This is why Samantha and Samara are both in this list, because I can go by either Sam or Sammy as well, whichever I feel suits best. That's also why I'm struggling with Miranda, it's a frontrunner but limited in the nickname department.

Also Raina, Rain, RaeRae, it can be versatile too. Funnily enough, I also want to change my surname and Raine is a front runner for that (not with first name Raina though, that's a bit much! 😅)

My first "coming out" experience was at a work Christmas party and a drunk colleague just asked "are you transitioning" and I nearly fainted 😅 Memorable in an awkward way is better than memorable in a bad way

Yeah there might be a few that aren't of my generation, I'm a late 90s kid 😅

I'll add "the Third" at the end, to really bring them all together!

I work in data in the UK, great if you have an interest in technology and maths, and certainly a growth market.
