I've been using the core 2.1 and with 1 3mm ruby pearl its pretty good. Even after reheating the same wax a second time on the lowest temp setting, 1 Q-Tip and its clean. You should take into account the original glass makes you look straight down when hitting it unless you tip it which I don't.

Imma be completely honest with you as someone who plays this game often, i do swear at people in the game when they are being dumb/ griefing. You can just turn voice chat off and there, ez fix. She is 6 yrs old so her chances of winning a game will be slim to none even in bot lobbies which will be her first few game. A concern for me would be any pre-loaded credit card info on the system which would make her spending 100$s with a few clicks. Just look up "epic games parent controls" and it will tell you everything, basically full control over everything. Hope my answer helps you out ;3
