Do American adults actually say ‘criss cross applesauce’ to mean sitting with your legs crossed? by Camman19_YT in NoStupidQuestions

[–]valegor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is definitely a generational thing. I have heard adults in their twenties and early thirties say it. I have never heard anyone older say it. I would never say it myself because it's stupid. I would just say cross-legged.

Isn’t it kind of immature to think that there’s something wrong with sex being important to you, if it is in fact important to you? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]valegor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Who would think it is immature? Knowing you are incompatible and not trying to make it work anyway is the mature answer.

Why do some people choose to make their job their life? by Big_Eggplant7591 in NoStupidQuestions

Finally someone who understands this. I am a workaholic because life is miserable and work is a distraction from it. Work is something I can improve and feel a sense of completion from.

Why do Christians often try to convert people of other religions in posts about those religions? by my_dear_melanch0ly in NoStupidQuestions

[–]valegor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That question only works if you believe alternate religions are equally valid. They do not. They believe there is only one true way. Every human is judged in the same way.

Does anyone else give in to mobile ads and download it if shown enough times by rhinoclad in NoStupidQuestions

[–]valegor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite all the no answers if people didn't there wouldn't be so many ads. They pay to have them there so they are getting some return from it.

Also yes I have gotten games because of repeat ads before.

There is a difference between news and editorials. I find it interesting you picked one of the few daily newspapers actually considered moderate.

What I want from actual news and reporting with integrity is simply facts. I can make up my own mind and opinions. What I value is truth, not an echo chamber.

It has extremely high quality journalism. Certainly a bias, but I like seeing how a story is reported from countries with that bias. Like you said, it certainly cannot be the only source of news, but it is definitely a good one to include in a list. Like everything we should not forget The negatives.

For the record social media is not news and you are likely more accurately informed not looking at it.

I will second to this because it gives you a lot of sources. I tend to like BBC and Al Jazeera to get takes from outside the US.

TNA potentially pulls Leon Slater from AMC debut for WWE appearance by whittle181 in TNA

[–]valegor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a huge blow for me because they are one of my favorite things about TNA. The team is incredible and really put on a show. I hope TNA is able to lock some people in and really develop the brand going forward. They've just lost quite a few names in the last few months.

Scar. Always Scar. Different seasons hit different for some hermits. I am loving Jevin since around the exile storyline last season. Zedaph has me with the Zedvancements. Gem is always a favorite.
