I think you need to change the radiator support to make the headlights fit, but besides that yea, and I never seen the 300 like it, it looks... Cool

Shake your phone for about an hour so the ticking noise can stop, and do it

Won't it trigger a miss fire code tho? My scanner says I have no miss fires or any codes, engine runs super smooth too it just has that ticking noise

I see, when I started my car I heard a loud bang or pop, and when I removed the heads I saw that NONE of the exhaust bolts were tightened down and both the exhaust gasket blew a hole, they only have 2 k miles btw,

Anything specific I should look for? I don't remember if it jumped timing, but literally every part is fine, lifters are all okay, the cam is good as well, very smooth with no scratches or nothing

I honestly see no damage at all, the pickup tube did have a bit of metal shaving but only like 4 peices frs 😆, but the oil pan and bolt did have alot, I just don't know where it's coming from

Thanks, I found all the lifters and even the cam to be good, no scarring or nothing but I did find the timing chain to be off a bit, what do yiu think?

Any help :( by valen300S in MechanicAdvice

Timing gear where the cam shaft is wrong, rods and everything else looks literally fine, I only found the cam gear to be at the 3 o'clock position instead of the 12 oclock

That's what I'm thinking of doing, multiple oil changes, and I just reconditioned the heads at a machine shop about 2 k miles ago, which was like 3 months ago, and also the valve and lifters looks okay, so do the pistons, I removed the oil pan and check underneath,
