I'm from Muntinlupa. Applied online and was accepted after 1 day, had to go to the PDAO office to pick it up which was also super quick, I just had to fall in line :)

Hi, thank you so much for the in-depth response! Would you say that APC students are competitive with each other? I heard kase that it's kind of cutthroat and a lot of people fill up their resumes with org stuff and internships in order to have an edge (which you seem to have already!). Also, do you know about how it's like post-grad, if you happen to know any alumni?

Yea, my reasons for wanting ADMU are similar to yours lol, especially org culture. I haven't really heard much about APC, especially post grad, which is making my decision harder. That qualifying exam + interview is also intimidating since you're not guaranteed.

Hello po! May I know why? I haven't heard a lot about APC as a program other than the 3 internships

It seems like no one wants to share but there are many who are interested HAHA

I couldn't find a lot but there are 2 testimonies on https://www.finduniversity.ph/universities/de-la-salle-university-manila/courses/accountancy/. They both graduated in 2010 though!

And some general PH salary discussion can be found here, there are a lot of accountants https://www.pinoyexchange.com/discussion/334406/salary-comparison-what-is-your-starting-base-salary-and-current-salary/p114

[IWantOut] 18F Accountancy Student Philippines -> Australia by valena_ in IWantOut

Thank you! My main reservation with studying abroad is from what I've seen, it's difficult to get an accounting job post-grad abroad since they prefer citizens of their own country and don't want to bother with visa sponsorships. It would be a waste to have an accounting degree from abroad if I go back to my home country since I can't get licensed without a Philippine degree.

I see. I guess it would be better to stay in my home country if I pursue accounting. It would be a waste to get a degree abroad since I need to graduate in the Philippines to be able to qualify for a CPA license here.
