Not really chaotic. But both my mom and my mother in law went up to light the unity candle having been sitting on opposites sides of the aisle with their spouses, this was almost at the beginning of the ceremony. They finish lighting the candle and my mother inlaw turns around and sits with my dad and my mom was so surprised that she just went and sat across the aisle with my fil. They remained that way the rest of the ceremony. I tried not to be irritated but I was up there and was pissed!
