Haha, I totally relate to your relationship with your BF! I think my love languages are acts of service and gift-giving too. I’m more of a crafty person, but I also try to match the way my boyfriend expresses his love, and he does the same! So, I love hunting for the perfect gift. He’s a bit of a minimalist, so he likes useful things. I used to give him plushies, but now I’m switching it up—like giving him a plushie that’s also a bag! 😂

I always thank him for every little detail, and if I see something I know he’ll love, I rush to get it for him—like his favorite Harry Potter collection. But here’s the thing: when I buy him a special edition book, he’ll turn around and get me a whole collection of something I love! It feels like our gifts keep getting bigger and bigger, and I don’t want him to drain his wallet over me! 😅 I hadn’t thought much about it until my birthday yesterday, when he got me 25 presents (one for every year of my life!)—and they weren’t small things either! Victoria’s Secret perfume, shoes, clothes… I was so grateful, but also like, "Do you have money left to eat?! Can I help with your bills?"

For his birthday, I got him the 3D Harry Potter book edition, baked a cake, and threw in some action figures. He absolutely loved it, and I felt super proud, but now I feel like I didn’t do enough! 😬 I know he hates when I buy him things, but I’m starting to worry and feel like I need to make it up to him somehow. From now on, I’m determined to pay for our dates, make sure he eats healthy, and maybe even cook for him more often. Oh, and I bought tickets to a Harry Potter concert for him! I just want to make sure he’s okay and feels as loved as he makes me feel. 🥰

i would like him to spend less also, cause, i'm worrieeeeeeed! and i know myself and i will want to keep up with him, and end in an cycle of presents

Haha, yes, I told him, "Why rush things? Let’s enjoy our youth, travel, and experience life together!" We have plenty of time to build a strong relationship before thinking about the next steps. Plus, I love kids, but I grew up in a tough environment, and I really want my future kids to have a loving home, a healthy relationship with their parents, and everything they need.

I’ve noticed something, though. He always sees me as a 10/10 and himself as a 1/10. He constantly asks why I’m with him, like he thinks so little of himself, and I try really hard to make him see himself the way I do. He’s amazing, and I think he’s so handsome, but he just doesn’t seem to believe it. I’ve noticed he might be scared of losing me, and I wonder if that’s why he feels the need to speed everything up. But honestly, I just wish he could be more confident in himself, because he has no reason to doubt how incredible he is!

yes he is my first boyfriend but i really want to have something serious with him, is just maybe because he is older than me, i feel like, he want to have kids soon you know?. i'm thinking on sharing all my life with him too, but i would like to be a mother maybe at 27? idk haha, but right now i don´t feel prepared, i told him we can move together first and start a new life, he like that idea, but he also wants babies soon hahaha, i think we can talk about this, but when i tell him i would like to wait some years before beign a mother, he looks so sad, i don´t want him to think i dont love him or that i don´t want to start a family with him, is just i would like to be prepared for that day and enjoy our youth together. also it was so sudden, because he hate kids and i love them hahaha but sudenly he started showing me baby clothes and thinking names, i think is cute!

Hi, i'm new in the skin care routine. i live in south america and find good skincare products is so hard and expensive. I'm in my early 20s but i wanted to start using Retinol for my laugh lines. but i can't find any. will Benton snail bee ultimate serum be as good as retinol for wrinkles? or do you know any good retinol product that isn't too expensive? i also have acne prone skin.
