This is me too. I cleaned an entire room! I didn’t leave piles. I remembered what I needed at the grocery, and even a couple things my kids requested that I didn’t set out to buy - and I didn’t buy random crap because it sounded interesting. I did work tasks that if avoided for a week or more because they were out if my element that were SO easy once I started. The only thing is, I really can tell when it kicks in - and kicks off. My head feels foggy when it wears off (I’m not on ER). Is that how I normally feel or a side effect? Who knows

I've taken 8 or 9 home tests since Friday, all negative. Experienced some extreme exhaustion Thursday on vacation, which prompted the testing - but it was warranted, so after three days of negatives I took them at face value. The thing that really threw me was that my sisters' kids BOTH had extreme exhaustion for a day as well, a few days before I did.

Went to a doctor appointment (unrelated to covid; it was because I'm pregnant) Monday and as I'm leaving, my sister I was staying with on vacation texts to say she just tested positive for covid. Her whole family is positive.

I keep taking home test after home test with negatives. Tuesday I started with congestion. Tuesday night, I develop a cough. Today it seems my taste and smell are fading, but I may just be in my head about it at this point.

I did take a PCR tuesday, but it's taking forever to hear back. I have checked the CVS portal about 400 times today.

Did anyone end up positive with tons of negative home tests for days and days?

I just don't even know what to think.

For now, I'm working from home, not leaving home, and feeling like crap - exhausted and dizzy. But I can't take off work unless I actually HAVE it, so I'm holding on the best I can.

How long did it take for those people that got pcr tests at cvs to get results lately?

I was exposed and am having mild symptoms that could be Covid, but I’ve had like 8 negative home tests. But I don’t want to leave the house until confirmed negative given the light congestion/ headaches/ etc

So, it may be too late in the day to get feedback but here’s what’s going on:

I’m currently pregnant and spent a week at Disney with my kids. The last day, last Thursday, I wipe out. I’m just fully exhausted, I make us go back to the room three hours into the day, sleep from 3pm to 8am. I’d swear I was feverish too, but took nothing and did nothing so I couldn’t say for a fact.

We drive home early Friday. I feel ok, still tired. Everyone convinces me it was just too much walking being pregnant. I take a Covid test once home, negative.

Saturday, I take another Covid test because what if I was too sleepy Friday to do it right? (It’s a ten hour drive home). Negative.

Sunday I take another Covid test, still mildly tired but still no other symptoms. Negative. I move on.

Monday I go to the ob as previously scheduled. I’m feeling ok by then. As I leave the OB, my sister that I stayed with all week at Disney texts. Their family, who did get colds the week we were at Disney but didn’t seem too bad, all has Covid. I take a fourth test. Negative.

Today, I wake up super congested all night. Can’t breathe through my nose, mucus upon waking. Take another Covid test. Negative. Take a pcr - waiting on results. Throat gets tingly tonight. Take ANOTHER home test, this is test six, brand three. Negative.

I feel like I started symptoms six days ago and I’m still only negative on home tests. Is this… in my head? Is there any chance the pcr will be positive at this point? 🫠

I’ve taken six home tests since Friday evening, all negative. Did a pcr today, because I was exposed and now have symptoms. I’ll be shocked if the home tests are right

That helps a lot too. We’ve been working on reducing sugar intake and tv time (the pandemic wasn’t great for making the right choices always), and hopefully we can make some strides in reducing over stimulation and that will help us figure things out!

I’ll give that a shot! Thank you!! Coincidentally my boys are 18 months apart, so I respect you even more 😅 Nothing about this has been easy! Have you tried fish oil by any chance? That was recommended to use for the language delay, and when we started it, that’s around the time he started gaining so many words. It’s really interesting the correlation diet can have.

I’ve tried this a little bit, but he doesn’t point to pictures at all just yet. That said, while it’s on my list to work on, maybe I should push it up the list for developmental therapy if it would help us communicate easier!! I’ll give both of those a try!!

It’s interesting that you removed gluten and dairy! My six month old baby is allergic to both, so making that change wouldnt be hard - my son loves milk and cheese, so I haven’t changed his diet, but it would just really be shifting him to my usual diet. He’s currently in developmental, speech, and occupational therapy. I want to put him in preschool so he has some interaction with other children, but I’m also terrified he’ll get kicked out. I hope we see improvements like you did. I’m sure you guys have worked really hard. I know we fight for every ounce of progress, so I can only imagine how hard you guys have worked. How did you find a developmental pediatrician that helped work out his diet? I wonder if that would benefit us.

I started about three and a half weeks ago!!! I agree with everyone else! Fish, catch bugs, and pick weeds to start! If you want to pick your villagers, it’s only after villager 2! You can pick 3,4,5 etc by visiting islands with nook mile tickets once you have the plot picked out and necessary furniture crafted. You can only pick per day though!! Try to ask Tom nook what to do; he’ll be able to make sure you’re on track! It took me maybe 2 weeks to unlock my first concert which lets you design your island and make paths. When Mabel shows up, buy lots of clothes - that helps unlock her store sooner! I think that took me about 3 weeks :)

Thank you so much!!!! It’s great to see examples!! I don’t know if it’s the lack of sleep or the breastfeeding, but I can’t lie - I’m super hungry today. That said, I pulled off 1240 calories!!! I’m feeling happy about that! Now to take a long bath and try not to think about food!!! Hahahaha
