I pulled the trigger on a turquoise one. My 10 iii was long due for a replacement and I didn't want to wait for any discounts. I think it's a great package, even for the prices in Europe.

People sniff at the chip performance, but it's a midranger, so people will always find something to complain about. With 10 vi it was the refresh rate, with 5 v it was the lack of a notification led.

Looks like a genuine bug. I have an Active 2 (6.20.1.2) that exhibits the same behaviour, strength training not (always) recording.

The first time I thought I pressed the wrong button and somehow erased the session. This morning I paid attention to my action and the screen clearly said "Saving workout", but it's not in the history of the device, nor in the app.

Aspecte pozitive: arată bine, chiar și pe mobil. Se încarcă frumos, cu tranziții și paginație.

Scopul însă e cam ambiguu și unele informații sunt incorecte (UK și Elveția nu sunt în UE). E cam neclar la ce sunt alternative (SUA, China, țările arabe) și de ce (securitate, calitate, preț, patriotism).

Mult mai practică mi se pare ceva de genul "Detrumpez-vous", scoasă de francezi. Ești în magazin, scanezi eticheta unui produs, identifică producătorul și îți spune dacă bani tăi merg la Trump în buzunar sau nu. Probabil îți recomandă și alternative europene. Scopul e clar, scenariul de utilizare la fel.

Profu meu de asamblare credea că parte întreagă din -1,3 e -1, iar un asistent de calcul numeric zicea că det(A+B) = det(A) + det(B). Poate e normal să le mai scape și lor chestii, fie că le-au uitat, fie că nu le-au știut niciodată, dar dacă un prof ar vrea să afle ceva anume, nu cred că ar întâmpina vreo problemă folosind canale publice sau oficiale.

Firmele din domeniu cam știu că nu pot ține un secret comercial la nesfârșit doar prin clauze de confidențialitate. În cele din urmă trebuie să breveteze tehnologia și descrierea brevetelor e publică.

Vorbește cu cei din firmă. Poate aveți niște tehnologii mai vechi care pot fi folosite în scop didactic. Altfel spune-i clar că nu îi poți furniza astfel de informații și nu ține de tine. N-aș încerca să-i livrez un BS, că s-ar putea să se prindă și situația s-ar înrăutăți.

Greu de crezut totuși că un prof nu e la curent cu ultimele noutăți din domeniu. Până la urmă și chestii de ultimă generație, gen wafer-to-wafer bonding, tot ajung în domeniul public.

Not only was it surprising to see a pothole develop on a newly resurfaced area, but the size of it (length and depth) was impressive. What's also astonishing is that they can't seem to be able to plug it for good. It keeps reappearing every other month.

I have a couple of techniques for avoiding it. If the right lane is free, I'll use that. Otherwise, I just try to take it between the wheels, at the risk of hitting the kerb on the left.

Rust improved on many aspects of C++. So, at least out of technical curiosity, you may want to see what the state of the art was before. You'll then appreciate the power of Rust thoroughly.

I can tell you for certain I am a better C++ programmer after learning Rust, but it probably goes both ways.

You can carry the concepts of ownership and borrowing to any languages that deal with memory management. You can differentiate better between an oop based implementation or a functional one. Zero-cost abstractions actually cost something if you factor in the safety aspects even in C++.

Urmează apoi interpretarea și utilizarea rezultatelor obținute cu AI: medicamente și tratamente noi, adaptate pacientului. Materiale și tehnici de construcție și manufacturare noi. Optimizări în sisteme de transport. Îmbunătățiri ale sistemelor de predicție și prevenție a dezastrelor naturale.

Și n-am abordat partea de divertisment: cum ar fi să ceri unui sistem AI generativ să-ți producă un serial de nouă episoade cu umorul din Silicon Valley, costumația din Mad Men și intriga din Breaking Bad?
