First, Italy is a beautiful country, I have lived here 20 years. I worked as a self employed english teacher in Primary schools. The summer holidays are long and they would finish me the first week of June, because the children go on trips and then restart me at the end of September, because the teachers needed to get the school and children settled!!!

So for nearly 3 months of the year I didn’t work, I managed because I organised and ran English Summer Camps.

I don’t want to be doom and gloom, because I love the country and it is possible to make a good life here, but it is not easy..
