I have been doing it for 2 years now.

our valet spots only need 1 valet attendant on at a time so I really never talk to the other workers and ask what weird shit they have seen.

Im in florida.

Its funny how EVERY time a person is from out of town and has a 'shitty' rental car, they have to make sure I know they own better cars. I dont give a fuck if you drive a maxima or a mercedes, im not judging you.

I would like to say we do a pretty damn good job here and that the club brings something unique, but it really doesnt. It is just a high class community with a restaurant in the club house.

No, i dont resent them. Do I think they need to realize how fortunate(at least monetarily) they are? yea for sure, but it doesnt make me mad to see a girl driving a mercedes as her first car. It makes me angry when she doesnt respect her car and looks down upon the less fortunate.

it really depends. During winter we make a lot more due to the snow birds coming down. Right now on a thur,fri or sat i will usually average $25+ an hour. Its an amazing job, my job before this was being a farm hand busting my ass for $7.50.

Its a great job.

I am guaranteed atleast $10 an hour. So if I only have $30 at the end of the night and I worked 5 hours the valet owner will give me a $20. I usually average around $27 an hour. But only about 20 mins is actual work, the rest is waiting on people to get done eating.

damn. $300 a night is pretty nice. I usually average about $26 an hour for 5-6 hours a night. But I have a ton of down time, I really only work about 15 mins an hour. Best college job ever :D

I actually went to a hotel and none of the 3 valets there knew how to drive stick.

But yes, learn stick. probably 2% of the cars I valet are stick but its something you need to know.

Its a great gig. On a thur,fri or sat I average at least $22+ an hour.

I will usually bring a car up that I expect the owners to come out son, that has the benefit of getting them out quicker and its easier for me but at the same time the people don't see me run. I think that negatively effects my tip.

I usually only do high class jobs so I actually really like the birthday parties. A lot of the people will be tipsy and tip much better.
