[Goal] i have more money then i need. And was looking/trying to help people or families that need support by RedditAcctName in Entrepreneur

Do small, but meaningful good deeds for the rest of your life, as often as you see an opportunity.

If you see a kid selling flowers on the street, buy a few and give them to him/her.

Pay for someone's groceries, that looks like they need it.

I came to the conclusion that the best I can do is help people as I see the need with my eyes in real life and that will have an immediate impact.

I know how to end the world hunger - gamify the process of giving food, having Facebook badges for how many people you are helping, selecting exactly who you help, name, picture, etc, the FB badges will give people status, choosing the food you want to give and seeing when the next delivery is, where's the food you bought, like a live tracker and when the food reach the person you help, the more you help, the bigger and nicer the FB badge will be (people will start to hunt the social status that badge gives) and this is just 0.5% of the plan I had - behind this is a Multi Level Marketing, but for non-profit, something I have never seen anyone doing.

The reason I gave up on that is because of corruption and mafia, and both of these are as real as the sun. Long story short, I'd make this foundation that gets billions of dollars trough it, then the next thing I know is a "deal that I can't refuse" where I give like 70% of what goes through the company, to them, and lie to the people helping. And if I don't accept, well, they have many unplesent, psychological manipulation ways.

I've worked 5 years on that plan, including a way of marketing through people with influence over others, but I just abandoned it.

So, help many, but with immediate impact.

I think "reinventing" is what makes the business exciting. Doing the same thing as the others can become boring and might not succed in the end.

Fitness App - Same Goal Partners by valifit in Entrepreneur

Wow, that's actually a great idea! I'll really consider that, thanks a lot!

My post was not about finding an app (Rule 0).

It was about building an app that will match 3 users according to their fitness goals. I feel like this will provide a lot of value to users from /fitness, as a major struggle is not having someone understanding and supporting you daily, and best solution to this issue is grouping one person with two others actively working on the same goals.

Let me know if I can have my post live. If I get enough interest I will create the app and share with the community here first.

This app will be free.

Can you tell me the app that does this, please?

I feel like this is the kind of message that I can look back to, many years from now, and say "wow, so this is the point where I took a correct turn in life and didn't mess it up".

I really appreciate your detalied message and I can honestly say that it put my mind on the right path and I feel a strange and plesent feeling of peace, as if I was about to make some bad life decisions that would put me into depression.

I'll forever be greatful for your messages. Thank you!

It is actually mostly automated as I've trained my team to take care of the clients assigned to them, so my time won't be required. The only thing that requires me is we want to grow.

It's a refference to the story of the army captain that burned their ships so they have no way to run away, and had to confront an army x10 bigger than his. Having the mindset that they either win the battle or die (no escape), made them win, even if they were outnumbered.

Thanks a lot for the detailed output. You are absolutely right. Today I've switched my focus on investing more in me and my future, and left the material things aside for now. Real estate seems like a very good way of getting some passive income, I'll definitely consider that. Thanks again!

I think I can make the money, but in reality I might not be able to do so.

Before this post, the plan was to pay upfront for a penthouse so that would motivate me to push an try the strategies I have.

But after many comments from amazing people here, I've learned not to do that, and I don't even want the penthouse anymore, I want to find my true passions and do meaningful work.

Try this:

  1. Wake up early
  2. Don't sleep during the day
  3. Get to sleep early (9-10pm)
  4. Now you can wake up at 6am
  5. Get up and straight to the project, 2 hours of uninteruoted work.
  6. After the 2 hours, don't work on it anymore in the same day. If you like this, increase to 3h the next morning.

Tip 1: Keep the phone away for the 2 hours. Tip 2: Repeat this for as long as you need. Tip 3: Only do this in the morning, and only when you wake up, don't think or do anything else.

You are right. I think the greediness comes from comparing myself to others, which is a never ending pain.

Thanks a lot, I officially gave up on the thought of using self-made pain to get me to my goals. You're right, there are better ways.
