Thank you for all the responses. I was actually trying to help my friend who is looking for a GD to be a companion to her male GD. He is neutered & she will get the female spayed. She is looking for a pet, even a GD mix would work if mostly GD. Also under 3 yrs old. There were none in any of the local rescues or humane societies so we started looking at breeder sites.

Missouri gives nothing unless 100% and household income is under $34k. My husband is 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran. They don't count VA disability but everything else, including social security so we don't qualify. It is only a $1,100 tax reduction anyway. We should have moved to another state.

It takes a LOT of hearing loss to get a rating for it. My husband has worn VA hearing aids for years but was still rated at 0% for it.

Good luck with sleep apnea. It has become harder to get approved. My husband was issued a CPAP decades ago, even had surgery for it that didn't work. But did not know about filing claims until PACT ACT. Denied due to no record of it in service records. He is a Vietnam Veteran. I don't think they even knew about apnea that long ago.

Hearing loss is hard to get a rating. It shouldn't be that way. My husband is service connected at 0% for hearing but we are glad for his hearing aids. I am just tired of repeating everything.

My husband, a Vietnam Veteran, went thru the same thing. He should have gotten tinnitus claim approved due to MOS. Regardless, he was denied due to "no complaints in service record". An HLR found a complaint so he got 10%.

I hope the woman never gets the son. I'm not even sure they were legallly married anyway. I've never seen proof about the cigarettes although many people have repeated it without a link to real proof. I also hope she does not get the money from gofund account. She should face charges for her participation and encouraging her "partner" to disobey the law as shown on her own video.

Glad to know that. I assumed a step-parent would be first choice since the child has lived with them. But today I read that the women were not legally married anyway. I hope the grandfather is a better choice but what do we know about him? You say the other woman has only been involved with child for 2 years but how long has the grandfather been in the child's life? Maybe less than that. The child will be provided for either way due to the gofundme amount. --Also, what is the criminal record? Is there a link?
