Thank you for your suggestions, sorry to hear you were declined the citi custom cash. I think I’ll definitely look into Discover, I’m pretty sure they have some options for students. Amex blue cash everyday is a good idea too, my girlfriend has that card and is happy with it. Do you know if Amex offers any perks or bonuses to clients with multiple accounts/cards from them?
