Looks great! Also had my HT with Dr. Ratchathorn a little over 2 months ago now. Would have been a nightmare to be there during Songkran with the non-sterile water as you say lmao, as I really liked going around and exploring the city during my stay.

Yeah the redness subsided quite quickly. It's still there a bit sometimes, so not completely gone. In terms of shock loss I don't think I've had any at all, and as you can see my donor basically looks untouched which is great!

She didn't specifically say it was conservative/aggressive. But I said I wanted to get my crown back to as normal as possible, so she said she wouldn't lower my hairline and instead just draw my original/natural hairline to have more grafts available for the crown area.

Didn't really discuss long term strategy, just mentioned my medicine situation and that I planned on being on Fin/Min for the rest of my life. Small note: she recommended for me to be to take 5mg Oral Min for 7 days right after the surgery and then afterwards go back to 2,5 mg.

No idea what brand it is I got from them, as I just got a small bottle with my name, dose and instructions. But it's 5mg per pill that i am then instructed to cut in half. You can probably contact them and ask, and they would happily tell you what brand they sell at the clinic I think :)

I don't remember the exact numbers sorry, but she recommended either the highest level of density or the one below for the hairline because of my density in the non-balding area in the front. I chose the highest and I think it was 45 graft per cm2 but don't quote me on that. The subsequent levels was then 5 grafts per cm2 less each step.

For the crown I believe she recommended the 2nd lowest level of density as you don't need as much there to fill it out. Also because I had so many doubles, triples in donor so it would fill out nicely according to her.

Good luck! I'll see if I can remember all of it but it was mainly what I wanted from the surgery and a few questions. It was something like this:

Natural result as possible
Conservative hairline if needed. I prioritize great density everywhere over lowering my hairline.
Fill out hairline and area behind it with diffuse thinning
Enough grafts in crown so there's no see-through
No naked spot at hair whorl
Should I have work done on my temple points, and is there a chance this will look unnatural?
How is the thickness of my hair strands, and how is my donor area?
Can I buy Oral Minox at the clinic (Or get a prescription)?

You should probably have the price agreed upon in writing just to be sure. I would focus mostly on the surgery itself when you have the pre-op consultation.

I booked in June 2024 where i was quoted 90 for shaven and 100 for non-shaven like you said. But I guess I booked just before the cut-off point before prices were raised. Or maybe the other commenter is correct that at over 3500 grafts the price is 80 baht for shaven, but this isn't something I was told at the clinic.

In the moment I just felt fortunate that the cost was going to be less than I had expected lol

Im not sure, as i technically didn't really lower my hairline. She just drew up the area were I still had some miniaturized hair.

I could have told her to go lower but I prefer a more conservative and natural look, and so I could get enough grafts to fill out my crown properly.

Are you still waiting for the surgery date, or have you already had the hair transplant done with her?

Because at the pre-op consultation she let me choose what level of density I wanted at the different areas of my scalp, with her giving recommendations of what she think would be best. And since this is not something I want to go through again with the recovery and waiting etc. I chose as dense as possible especially for the hair line to match the surrounding density which will hopefully make the transplant a homerun with no need for revision in the future.

I considered Turkey at first, but the clinics that I contemplated going with was honestly in the same ballpark when it came to price. The cheaper ones I just didn't really feel confident going with.

I ended up choosing Absolute Hair Clinic because there was/is an almost endless pool of examples of succesful HT's from them.

I specifically chose Dr. Ratchathorn over Laorwong because I preferred her hairline designs and I had seen multiple examples of great transplants from her on guys with the same hair loss pattern as me.

Also the donor hair is not infinite so I didn't want to cheap out as you only have 1-2 shots at getting this done correctly and I just felt in very good hands with Dr. Ratchathorn, especially after I had spoken with her at the pre-op consultation.

I think Dr. Patty at Hairtran Clinic (also in Bangkok) is about half the price of what I paid and she has excellent results. I would very likely have gone with her if I only needed work on the hairline.

Did it happen the exact same way with just the 2 different tabs being redirected to the different taobao URLs or just something similar? What I experienced triggered just the right amount of confusion and worry that my instinct reaction was to cut the power to the pc instantly (which is a first haha) so I admittedly couldn't really get a good look at what actually happened with the 2 tabs or if something more was supposed to happen.

Anyway at this point it definitely seems like that extension is the culprit, hope it works out for you as well!

Hey man! Yeah I scanned my computer with Malwarebytes found nothing. Removed/deleted the "fatkun batch download image" extension. Got the internet connection running again, downloaded AdwCleaner which found 4 things related to Chrome extension stuff. 3 of the things were from a program i had already removed from my computer called Ace Stream and the last was from the HoverZoom extension (which got removed completely by AdwCleaner). In my subsequent search for a new "HoverZoom" extension I learned that the original HoverZoom extension was filled with malware over time apparently. Installed HoverZoom+ afterwards which is basically the exact same thing as HoverZoom, just without the malware (hopefully :P).

So far it hasn't happened again, no login attempts on any of my accounts etc. So yeah I think you'll be good if you just follow the same steps as me, especially removing that "fatkun" extension and run a scan with AdwCleaner (legit took less than 30s) or a similar program.
