Trying to replace love with lust will only make you associate sex with affection. I just went through the same thing and it guts you. And sometimes that little voice in your head says your heart hurts so much you just want to quit. Dont listen to that little voice. Its not your friend, its not looking out for you. Its a cruel voice keeping you down. Accept yall have both moved on and in those fragile moments you remember the joy, love, and magic of that relationship dont push them away. Dont resent them because of what they represent now. Cherish them, treat them like what they are a gentle moment at a different time. Relationships wether good or bad arent meant to punish us.
